I'm not sure who this product is for. It says all hair types, but with fine curly hair, I wouldn't want to use this regularly as I think it would weigh down my hair and mess with my curl pattern. This product seems to have changed, or maybe I just got a bad bottle. It used to leave your hair easily with your next wash and leave your head super soft. The texture of the cream is still the same but the effects aren't quite as good as they were.

I have thick, semi-coarse, not-quite-curly-but-not-quite-wavy hair past my shoulders. I don't color it. My previous issues were having flat hair on top and then frizzy, sticking out hair towards the bottom. As was said in Princess Diaries- it resembled like a yield sign. Not flattering! Being a desperate woman, I purchased Not Your Mothers Sleep On It Overnight Hydrating Serum Cream, Not Your Mothers Curl Talk Frizz Control Hair Lotion, Not Your Mothers Gel Custard (*in the tub*, not the tube), microfiber hair towels, a silk bonnet, and Gisou hair oil. I did it. I have finally figured out what makes my hair look good. It's so hard for wavy/curly hair to look put-together and this makes my hair look like tamed chaos! Nighttime Routine Shower - leave hair damp Wrap hair in hair towl After a minute, add 4 pumps of serum cream all through hair Immediately add about an inch wide and half an inch tall glob of hair lotion and coat hair Put bonnet on Go to sleep Morning Routine Dont take bonnet off until im ready to do my hair - it is still damp Remove bonnet Immediately take an inch wide by half an inch tall glob of curl custard and gently pat all over on curls Flip head upside down Scrunch scrunch scrunch until curls are holding a little more (about a minute for me) Go about the rest of my get-ready routine for thirty minutes Come back to bathroom Add 4 drops of gisou oil to palm of hand (I am experimenting using The Ordinarys marula oil tomorrow because gisou is $$$) Splash an oz. of water into palm with oil Press both palms together to coat Scrunch scrunch into hair (about thirty seconds) And that's the routine! Don't give up on your hair-you will figure out what works!
