Terrible under makeup
This skin hero cream is such a flop for me. I've used it before/after skincare, going in with a skin tint/foundation right after applying it, waiting for 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes after applying it. Terrible under makeup
This skin hero cream is such a flop for me. I've used it before/after skincare, going in with a skin tint/foundation right after applying it, waiting for 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes after applying it. Used it with other Erborian products, drugstore foundations/skin tints and high end foundations/skin tints. It has consistently ruined my makeup EVERY time I've used it. It accentuates texture, holds on to the dry areas and breaks up the foundation. I tried mixing it with mositurizers and it still fails. Imagine you're running out the door in the morning and your nose starts pilling and the foundation is seperating on your chin. You have 3 minutes to fix it or just take it all off. It's a nightmare. Some people wear it alone, without foundation, but it does nothing for me at all. I've loved the green color correcting cream (I wear the shade clair) for over a year, since I first tried it. I also have their regular CC and BB creams. All are amazing! This is the only item i would not recommend from erborian. PS: Korean skincare and makeup are a game changer. You can't beat the prices, tech, innovation, ingredients and the results. I know erborian is now made in France but they are still korean and still use the same amazing ingredients and follow the Korean way
deep breakouts
haven't broken out in years and this gave me deep cystic acne.
Not my favorite
Wanted to love this, but it did not work well for me. Difficult to rub in, made my face feel pretty sticky, and pilled quite a bit. It especially pilled near any small patches of dry skin on my face. Did not like how shiny it made my face look and how it settled into my skin either.
For no makeup look
I'm on my second purchase of this item and absolutely love it! I dont wear much makeup so this is right up my alley. I wear belif Super Drops Golden Glow Serum and then put this on top with mascara and a lip gloss and its perfection. You can still see the sheen of the glow serum but get a blurred filter effect with this skin perfecter. Highly recommend!
A great addition if you are looking for more no make up days

The Erborian Skin Hero Bare Skin Perfector was the perfect choice as i am more about natural skin without the need for heavy makeup especially in the warmer weather. Its combination of immediate and long term benefits has made it a perfect addition to my regime. I cannot wait to use on holiday when makeup is a no for me in the heat. It perfectly blurs my pores - a touch of the bb or cc cream on top and a little bronzer and you're good to go.
