Lovely highlighter
It is way prettier in person. put it under the right light and it sparkles with no cast. Not for peeps who dislike sparkle. I wish Ulta would stock this in-store. this is a delicate powder and I understand why people would leave a bad review from getting broken product.
Hands Are Sparkly
This highlighter came completely broken. I read the reviews and gave them the benefit of the doubt that they fixed the issuse, but apparently not.
Broken during shipment
Ulta needs to take more care in the wrapping and shipping of this product. When you open a package from Pat McGrath, its wrapped up in layers upon layers of paper and webbed shipping product. Ulta literally throws it in a then bubble wrap mailer. I knew it was broken before i even got the mailer open because the powder was coming out of the end. So disappointing!! I returned it to the store. The product was gorgeous, just not all over my hands!!!
Arrives broken - but GREAT product!
This is a great product! Unfortunately my local Ulta does not stock it, and Ulta ships this in a padded envelope. I tried to order this for shipping 3 times and all 3 times it arrived broken — a huge glittery mess. Pat McGrath is wonderful and hopefully Ulta can fix their shipping packaging soon.
The only highlighter I've panned, here for a repurchase
I bought this as a "treat yoself" moment from another retailer before Pat McGrath was available at Ulta after seeing great reviews on YouTube. It's since become my favorite highlighter. The color plays well with my fair skin tone (no dark cast, no dreaded "stripe of gold") and smooths over my aging, lined skin. I'm in my 50s and have fine lines that some powder highlights like to sit in, thus accentuating them...this one doesn't do that. Lunar Allure is a perfect shade with almost every makeup look I have worn it with (and I change makeup looks almost daily). I love it so much I've packed it into my travel makeup bag I take to work to freshen up midday (work 12+ hour shifts, often wearing a mask). That's when I discovered the soft formula can crack after lots of usage and mine crumbled in the compact. It's nearly gone so now I can't take it with me without it potentially getting all over my other makeup products in said bag, hence the repurchase. Yup, it's almost $50 for a highlighter. But it lasted a very long time with almost-daily use and it's seriously STUNNING. I've tried duping/replacing it with several others...and none have compared in quality, tone and ease of use. Would I buy again? Ohhh yes...that's what I'm doing ATM...adding to cart lol. PS: Soooo happy to earn/use Ultamate rewards points for my favorite luxury brands like PML and Natasha Denona now!
