Who needs this? Anyone with natural or color-treated red or brown hair looking to add warm red + rich brown tones. Read all instructions thoroughly before glossing your hair.
- Wet hair thoroughly in the shower.
- Mix bottles 1 and 2 together, shake gently and apply all over. Discard after use.
- Wait 10-20 minutes, depending on the result you want, then rinse thoroughly.
- Shampoo and condition as usual.

Made my hair gold
Something that was supposed to be "neutral blond" winter wheat made my hair literally yellow. Hair feels very dry after it as well.
A bit stronger than expected
I thought i was getting a lightly tinted hair gloss with an easy application. Stained my whole shower, luckily didnt stain my forehead or skin. Turned my light brown hair with small red tints to BLACK. All i wanted was a small tint and gloss. My hair feels heavier and gets greasier a bit too fast with this gloss coat on. Im counting down the days for it to wash out but its been 8 days now and it still looks very black.

I want to start by saying I shaved my hair four years ago and last year decided I wanted to do some box dye highlights on it, since then I have not touched it and it has grown about four inches within the last year. I really wanted to get rid of that blonde at the bottom without dying it again so I found this "gloss" online. I went only on the blonde section and left the 4 inches clean and when I tell you this product fried my poor Hair, my hair was so healthy and some strands are now fried up to the scalp not only that, but I think it brightened the blonde if I could give a -5 star I would. I just had to cut 2 1/2 inches off to get it manageable. Stay away from this product!
It works!
I applied to my hair and left on for 20 minutes. It refreshed my color and made my hair shiny. I used Bittersweet on my dyed brown hair. I recommend this product!
Wish this lasted longer
After one wash its mostly gone, i'd say 65-70% back to what my hair looked like before. After two washes my hair looked the same it did before i used this product. Maybe something to purchase for one important day/event but doesnt replace traditional toner in my opinion.

I glossed my hair last night, but didn't use the whole bottle. I didn't get one side of my head as saturated as the other, so it's a bit lighter. What would happen if I used the remaining mixed gloss on the lighter side to try and even it out? If I can do this, should I leave it on any longer/shorter than fresh gloss?

- Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand EngageHello! Thank you for your question! No, you cannot save unused Kristin Ess Hair Signature Glosses in the bottle for later use. Once the gloss is mixed, you should use it within an hour because the active ingredients are no longer effective. To even out the tone we do recommend to use a new box of gloss in the same shade. You can try applying it on the lighter side of your hair first, try leaving it on for less time than you did before, then for the last 5 minutes of processing fully saturate all of your hair with the gloss to make sure its all even. I currently have my hair dyed a cherry red. It looks burgundy in regular lighting but bright red in sunlight. How will Wildy Berry look? I want to keep the color I have but more vibrant, I do not want it darker.

The Signature Hair Gloss in the the shade Wild Berry works best if you have dark hair and want to add a rich, deep burgundy tone. For red hair you could try the shade Ruby, which works great to enhance color treated and natural light brown, medium brown or red hair by adding vivid red tones. We would recommend to try the Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo first to help remove the chlorine from your hair before using the Signature Gloss. The Clarifying Shampoo helps remove mineral deposits from hard water or chlorine, product buildup, excess oils and even silicones that can build up over time.
