The Diane Shampoo Massage Brush is ideal for deep scalp cleansing, exfoliating and massaging in the shower.
Gently press silicone tips to the scalp and massage in circular motions. Can be used on wet or dry hair, with or without product.
I purchased this along with a scalp treatment shampoo and conditioner in the hopes it would help clear up my irritated scalp. I was skeptical it would do anything since I have very thick hair. I find that I am using much less shampoo than before because it helps the shampoo lather, which is great because the shampoo and conditioner I bought were not large bottles. The "spikes" are very flexible and soft and feel really nice when paired with a tea tree formula product on my scalp, I feel like my scalp and hair are much cleaner after washing because there is much less residue left behind. It fits best in my hand if my index, middle, and ring fingers are inside the grips and my thumb and little finger on the outsides. It rinses off super easy and I hang it on my shower curtain rings to dry.
I wanted to love this product but unfortunately I think I have too much hair for it. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and the little silicone nubs just don't reach my scalp when I'm lathering. I also feel like they're too soft to really do anything. It's more of a pain to try to get the brush to actually reach my scalp than it is to just use my fingers and get a deep scrub. I tend to get buildup along the back of my head near my neck and this hasn't been helping with avoiding that. It also tangles the heck out of my hair, which is the opposite of what I bought the product for. Just a waste of money. I'm going to try to look for something more heavy duty.
This brush is perfect!
My scalp felt so good and clean after washing my hair with this brush. Totally exceeded my expectation!!
Able to get deep through my hair, to clean my scalp. Hair doesn't get knotty, which is good!
I originally got this because a sells associate told me she liked this one better than the other one I was looking at. I took her advice and purchased it, while using it, it would come undone and I would have to stop washing my hair just to twist it back together almost every wash. I regret not just going for the one I was looking at. it was soild and wouldn't have to worry about water getting inside and molding. I will continue to use this until I get fed up and just throw it out. not worth the hassle.
