Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends with lukewarm water. Lather a quarter size amount of shampoo in hands. Work shampoo into roots and anywhere hair touches the scalp. Rinse shampoo. Squeeze out excess moisture before applying conditioner.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water.

I have fine, straight, oily, frizzy, damaged (from coloring and using heat styling tools over the years) hair type. My scalp tends to get oily but have dry, brittle strands and been in search for hair products that'll help replenish/repair, add volume, and reduce frizz all while not weighing my hair...

I tried this shampoo, even after reading reviews about the heavy scent, which I'm very sensitive to and suffer migraines. I bought the travel size because of the reviews. I'm back to buy a bigger size because I love this shampoo! My hair has always been very fine, but now it is fine, thin, and lackluster. This shampoo gives it some ummph. When I use it, I do notice a greater sense of volume, and it feels great. There isn't any unpleasant scent as far as I'm concerned. I've come back to try a couple of the other products now, too. I like this product quite a bit.
Thought this was a gimmick... I was wrong
I'd seen Ouai everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE. I'm used to getting my products from Cosmoprof but seeing as they don't sell it there, I bought a travel size to see what all the fuss was about with this brand. Y'all. When I tell you my hair lays flatter than a brand new sidewalk I'm so serious. This shampoo actually gave my sad hair BODY AND LIFE. Flabbers? Thoroughly and utterly gasted. The smell is a little grandma to me but it doesn't linger because my hair mask covers it up but that's not the point. This shampoo is the REAL. FRICKIN. DEAL. Fine haired folks, this is it. They finally did it. No notes (except maybe the fragrance but not complaining).

I wanted to try this product because it is for fine hair. It does seem to help add a little volume and a little better hold to my hair. I would like to be able to compare it to other shampoos for fine hair; this is the first one I have tried.

Don't normally write reviews unless I hate something... but this product deserves a shout out. Absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner! First...it is NOT a volumizung shampoo. Don't expect it to make your thin hair fuller or thicker. What it does do is support my fine hair and make it super soft and smooth. I have fewer tangles and my hair is soft and shiny. My hair stylist totally noticed a difference in my hair. I took about a month of consistent use to see the difference, but stick with it - totally worth it!
I already did. It is amazing.
