Gifted by Curlsmith "Shake and Shine" Review
I was kindly gifted by Curlsmith their new "Shake and Shine" hair product via Skeepers in exchange for my real and honest opinion of the product. From the first initial use, I was very impressed at how the formula, which you have to shake before using, is not sticky at all! It rehydrated my lived-in...

Stringy Curls
I love other Curlsmith products but this just didn't work for me. I wanted to love it! I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong? The main reason I need to refresh my fine, med porosity/density, course-surface-textured 3b/c curls is FRIZZ, much of which is due to the fact that my hair becomes parche...

Smells amazing, works well on 2nd day wavy hair!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
First 2nd day spray I've tried that actually works. I have to spray a decent amount, but I love the smell, and notice that as I scrunch my hair up, and spray this evenly throughout, it works! I do use a frizz fighter for the flyaways (frizzease)
good but not great for my hair
i have thick, loosely wavy hair with no defined curls. this works decently well but isnt my favorite. my hair is coarse and prone to frizz and i dont find this to be hydrating, but it does add texture and shine. i've switched to spraying it overtop on day two hair, this is after scrunching my hair with water & leave-in conditioner. i don't scrunch this in, i just tousle it a little and let it set. i've noticed if i touch my hair too much with this product it makes it pretty frizzy. it can also make it oily and tangly, so i avoid the roots and don't spray a lot. idk about the scent complaints… ive never even noticed it. it's a very mild citrus and i dont smell it in my hair at all. i dont like overly perfumey scents. not sure if i will repurchase as i'm looking for something more hydrating. a little leave in mixed with water in a spray bottle and some mousse does better for me for refreshing my waves.
New holy grail of a refresh spray!
I've tried many refresh sprays and this is the only one that works for me. It redefines my curls and makes it shiny, soft, and hydrated. I wish I discovered it sooner!
Works great!
Used this on my day two waves. It really brought my hair back to life! It also smells like the orange shampoo and condition so it makes your hair smell good! I reocmmmended this to my wavy haired friend after using this.
Miracle Worker!
I can't get over how well this stuff worked on my 2B/ 2C curly hair! I have a lot of fine hair and used it sparingly. Works way better than the original Curl Smith reactivator- that stuff was too heavy for my hair. Give it a try if you have similar hair!
