Esthetician Approved Sun Protection

As an esthetician, I've had my hands on countless sunscreens, and I can confidently say that Blue Lizard SPF 50 Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen with soothing organic aloe is a standout favorite in my professional opinion. This product truly understands what sensitive skin needs in sun protection. What I...

No traditional SPF scent, and water resistant.

Product gifted by Blue Lizard and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Like I said in the video, I enjoyed the fact that it didn't have a traditional SPF smell to it. The scent was very minimal. It's very easy to apply, especially on the go which I loved. I also like how the applicator can ...

Spray can doesn't work!

The spray does not work. The spray gets clogged by the sunscreen and you have to remove the cap. Soak it in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes and then guess what you spray for 3 seconds and then it doesn't.!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This sunscreen is awesome! It makes me more comfortable knowing where I have actually covered on my kids! It was easy on their sensitive skin, it wasn't oily and did not smell strong

Doesn't leave a white cast on your skin

This mineral spray sunscreen works amazing. It doesn't leave a white cast on your skin but it does seem to leave it in the air. It's kind of pain to shake before and during use so I would say that's the biggest downfall. It isn't thick like other mineral sunscreens and has minimal sunscreen smell. Otherwise the coverage is great and stays on for two-three hours.

So maybe it was user error but I've been using the lotion Blue Lizard and haven't had a sun burn, even when I was in the Dominican Republic. I used this at home in Illinois and was burned after 2 hours in the sun. Really disappointed because we love blue lizard in our house

I love Blue Lizard sunscreen. It absorbs well, protects your skin and doesn't come off in the water but they spray comes out very uneven. I will stick to the lotion.

Is this reef safe?

Official Answer By Blue Lizard - Brand Engage
Great question! While no sunscreens are allowed to claim "reef safe" anymore, we are formulated without octinoxate, oxybenzone, parabens, etc which are not reef friendly ingredients. You'll see on our packaging "we love the reef" which indicates that we are formulated without these reef-harmful ingredients. Was this answer helpful to you
