This shampoo is a game changer for my fine, oily hair. It is made with clean ingredients which makes me feel even better about using it. The first thing I noticed was the refreshing scent. Not overpowering, just a clean pleasant smell. In the shower I wet my hair and applied only a small amount of shampoo because a little goes a long way. It lathered so nicely. I realized my hair didn't feel like straw after rinsing like it usually does after using other shampoos. I actually didn't need conditioner either after shampooing. I allowed my hair to air dry. Usually when I do that it starts getting oily faster but it didn't. My husband actually touched it and commented on how soft it was. The second day I styled my hair. It was still very soft and bouncy but not oily at all. I went all day without looking in the mirror all the time waiting to have to use dry shampoo. After waking up on day three I looked in the mirror and I was SHOCKED but so pleasantly surprised that my hair was still not oily. I can't remember the last time I went three days without using dry shampoo or washing my hair. Also, I found that because my hair wasn't oily, it felt and looked like it had more volume to it. This is the by far the best shampoo for oily hair that I have ever used. I will continue to use this and throw out all the rest! 10/10

I had never tried this shampoo before, but after just one wash, it's already one of my favorites! It lathers so easily, and you only need a tiny amount to wash your hair thoroughly. My hair is a little past my shoulder blades, and I shampoo twice in one wash, so a little goes a long way. The scent is absolutely heavenly to me. It smells fresh and green, almost like herbs and freshly cut grass. It's also part of the Oil Control line, which helps keep my hair feeling clean for longer. I genuinely can't recommend it enough!

I do not usually do negative reviews unless something is deserving. I absolutely do NOT recommend Bumble and bumble Seaweed Oil Control Shampoo. The smell was nauseating and completely unbearable. The scent reminded me so much of Nair hair removal cream, and I couldn't stand having it in my hair. Even worse, it took multiple washes with a different shampoo just to get the smell out! Not to mention leaving a putrid scent on my flat iron that isn't coming out. A shampoo should leave your hair feeling clean and smelling fresh, not leave you desperately trying to wash away the scent. I left it in the first two washes because I wanted to like it but unfortunately, there was no change in my hair nor did it seem to help with my scalp or oil production. I was extremely disappointed with this product. I received this product for free from Bumble and bumble for testing and review purposes.

I love this shampoo. I have thin, oily hair naturally. I have to use dry shampoo the next day after washing my hair normally. With the Bumble and Bumble Seaweed shampoo, I didn't need to use the dry shampoo unless I waited 3 days to wash my hair. I enjoy the scent too. I really liked this shampoo! It has a really nice fresh apple/fruit scent, and the lather was consistent and felt great. I have fine, straight, but coarse Asian hair, and I noticed my hair felt lighter and bouncier after using it. My scalp also felt really fresh and clean, and it helped keep oiliness away for about 2 days in between washes. Overall, it made washing my hair a really nice experience, and the smell and sensory experience I get from using it makes me definitely want to keep it in my shower routine.
