I always bought slip hair ties, but I wanted to save some money and wanted to try the kitsch brand. These are not comparable. The only thing we have in common is they satin. The kitcsh brand fray and we will strings loose on the hair tie. They also don't hold in my hair. I wear the slip brand through a full workout and it doesn't move. The kitsch brand can't even hold while walking around in my house. At this point, they just stay in my bathroom to throw my hair up while I'm washing my face and then I take it off.

I usually put my hair up in a clip, but the clip is uncomfortable to sleep with. These satin scrunchies are great for nighttime. They go on easily and more importantly come off easily without pulling out a bunch of hair like traditional pony tail holders do. The 6 pc set is great so I can keep one in my nightstand , bathroom and around the house.
