This face wash is lovely and gently cleanses the skin. I would strongly recommend it if you like the smell of roses. I wanted something different and tried another face wash from the same brand. Skin Type Oily
There's no phenoxyethanol in this product but even if there was, there's nothing wrong with it. It's a preservative so your product doesn't grow bacteria. Phenoxyethanol is safe for use in cosmetics at its maximum usage rate of 1%. Regardless of where it is on the ingredients list, even high up, it's only used at 1%. That's the max. Also, there's no scientific research in humans to suggest that it can cause cancer or that it's a reproductive toxin. So, deep breaths. Stop fear mongering and be thankful your products aren't going to give you MRSA or something. You can have microscopic tears in your skin that could become infected if your skincare isn't properly preserved- and all the medications you'll need to treat that will be far more questionable than 1% of a approved preservative. SMH.
PERFECT for combination/oily skin and make up removing
Flawlessly removes make up !!! I am SO glad I bought this face wash! I needed a nighttime face wash that would (hopefully) remove makeup and not dry my skin out, or make it greasy. I have combination/oily skin. This winter has been ferocious and my skin has been suffering. This is probably the best face wash I've ever used for my skin type. I don't wake up to oily or dry skin, and it smells great ! I usually have to use a washcloth to make sure the make up comes off (I wear a lot of liner and mascara), but not with this one
