PREP: Clean and prep nails. TREAT: Apply one coat od RIDGE FILLER. LACQUER: Next, apply two coats of nail color, or leave as is. CONTINUE CARE: Seal and protect with one additional coat of RIDGE FILLER; capping the free-edge, with each coat. Reapply RIDGE FILLER daily, over polish layers for seven days. Then remove with a non-acetone remover and begin steps again.

10/10 for damaged nails
I struggle with having damaged and brittle nails. I constantly do my own gel X extensions as well as acrylic and builder gel manicures! I bought this to give my nails break and it has done just that while giving them a good protective barrier and a good level base! I would recommend it for anyone who has a situation like me. I do think that you should use it just as a base! It leaves a similar finish, which I follow up with the strength and treatment from the same brand! Or just top coat!
Not for me
The effectiveness of base coats is so dependent on body chemistry. This one is just no good for mine! I prefer other ridge fillers that are available at Ulta.
