I would say more powder. I used it but I was in a rush but it worked. I have it on two of my nails with slik wrap. It feels strong like dip powder. Can't wait to see how it holds up!

One of my (long...) nails cracked horizontally and I was absolutely heartbroken. Normally in the past I would use a bit of a teabag and pray but this would get me, at most, 3-4 days if I was EXTREMELY delicate with the nail. This product has been on my nail for maybe a week now and I don't see it breaking anytime soon, and I've really been putting my nails through their normal wear and tear without "babying" that finger. I definitely didn't buff the nail enough so it looks a little rougher than the rest but it's only really noticeable because I stare at my nails all day. Really recommend this if you have long natural nails that you don't want to have to cut just because one broke!

Unbelievable! I don't normally leave reviews but I HAVE TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT NAILTEK repair for torn, cracked or split nails. I had my nails done 2 months ago. it was done so well they grew all the way out still attached. My real nails are now bending and completely tearing. I coach Cheer and Basketball, the repair system completely fixed my nail torn all the way through. 1 week since repair the nails are holding up beyond anything I could've hoped for! Ive tried all the techniques from tea bags to essie break fix. Nothing has worked this well EVER! My nails were bending and breaking from the length one even broke on my nail bed, ouch! It's perfectly reset with this resin/powder combo with a base coat and top coat of clear gel. BE PATIENT with the resin powder setting and drying. 5-10 min. (High humidity climate) light file to shape and smooth. Im so impressed!

Easy to use to fix nails, same thing used at my salon. Resin drys out quick after opening, but otherwise great to have on hand.

Both my thumbnails cracked horizontally halfway down the nail. There was no way to cut them that far down. This product was very easy to use. It just takes a little time to fully dry.

That said, just make sure you’re using a gentle, fine-grit buffer (ideally around 240 grit or higher) especially when prepping your nails for the NailTek Resin & Powder System. Over-buffing or using something too coarse can thin or damage your natural nail, which we definitely want to avoid. Mix in a few drops of cuticle oil to help condition your nails during removal. STEP 2: Soak your nail briefly until the product becomes gummy or tacky in texture. STEP 3: Using an orangewood stick, gently push the softened product from the cuticle down toward the free-edge. Repeat this step until the product is fully removed. [ PRO TIP: If any product remains, repeat steps 1-3 until it lifts easily. ] STEP 4: Once all residue has been removed, wash your hands thoroughly and apply cuticle oil to hydrate and restore the nail and surrounding skin.
