Initial Impressions

DISCLAIMER: I got this in a brand review event, under the obligation that I would post a review within two weeks of receiving the item. 01/29/2026: Initial Impressions I received this in an absolutely massive box, containing this strange paper-like mesh, which contained a smaller box which had the ...product inside. The paper mesh made the unboxing experience more textural and more fun, but if that means shipping it inside of another huge box, I'd rather go without it. The product packaging itself is nice. I believe it's glass (not 100% though), and it has a simple pump which makes it faster to use than a dropper. The pump does not lock, but the white cap attaches solidly. I suspect this will travel well. After taking the serum out of the box, I got the impression this would be a thick serum, watching the gel slowly move side to side as I tilted the bottle. I pumped it on the back of my hand, and it held its shape, a sheer-green transparent droplet. I was fairly surprised to find that, when I spread this out, it actually felt very light. I believe this is what some refer to as a "water break" or a "quick break" texture. It does not leave a heavy feel on my hand after spreading, even after two layers, although I do notice some additional emollience and occlusivity. I suspect this will be a nice layering product for my dry skin after toner and under moisturizer. I was surprised to find this product contains rosemary essential oil, being as they describe this as a hypoallergenic serum for sensitive skin types. However, this is the only essential oil it contains, and at least it is disclosed instead of hidden behind the veil of "Fragrance" or "Parfum" on the ingredients list. It does have a noticeable rosemary smell on the back of my hand after first spreading it and "breaking" the texture, but it dissipated relatively quickly. I'll see how strong it is once I use it on my face.
