The Kitsch Pro Dermaplaner Set gently exfoliates facial skin by removing dead skin cells and unwanted hair that can trap dirt and oil.
I'm a trained esthetician but am not working in a spa. I bought these so I could remove my peach fuzz and dead skin. They work great. You have to hold skin tight and do short sweeping motions at a 45 degree angle. I pull my skin tight at my cheekbone and move down from there at an angle towards my nose to do my cheeks. On my forehead I pull my skin tight at my hairline. On my chin I pull it tight from the sides. If you don't hold the skin tight you're not going to get results. I had a good amount of dead skin left on the razor. I do chemical peels once a month and use products with glycolic acid so those get rid of dead skin too. I don't have a trace of blonde peach fuzz on my face. These should only be used once a month. In the mean time to get rid of the peach fuzz I use the little razors meant for eyebrows and do my cheeks, chin and forehead with those. These are really good. I don't understand the poor ratings. If you aren't getting results it's likely you aren't using them correctly.
These razors do the job, but I 100% recommend Tinkle razors over these. I always use an oil on my face to protect my skin, and even with oil, these razors are painful. It feels like I'm dry-shaving or having my entire face threaded. Fortunately, I haven't experienced any irritation AFTER using them (no razor burn). You get a lot of razors for the price & they DO remove peach fuzz ... but I can't wait until this package is empty so I can go back to a smoother razor

I have sensitive skin. I have SLIGHT irritation from using these but nothing too bad! I have used these for 4 months now. This is my 3rd pack. I use them weekly as I apply makeup daily. (I'm a makeup artist) these seem to be the smoothest derma planer I can find!!

Decent value however many blades have prongs sticking out which causes small cuts. I've had to throw a few out. Will not buy again.

I dermaplane once a month and have never had any problems from these. They effectively remove facial fuzz and leave my face smooth. My face is a bit sensitive after but that's normal, facial skin is sensitive. I follow up with my hyaluronic acid serum and moisturizer and the sensitivity is gone the next day. Avoid using actives after dermaplaning. I recommend doing this as part of your night routine so that your skin can rest before you put stuff on it.

Check the blade before you start using this some of the side teeth that were on the blade its self were lifted, and I did not realize it until I started using them and I have cut up my face and it burns. I've cleaned it and put Aquaphor to soothe it but please check the blades to make sure nothing is lifted that will give you micro cuts.
