Good not great
I really only need one clip to hold my hair up while blow drying in sections (medium thickness) which is nice, and so they are definitely strong. The only thing I don't like about them is that the bumps aren't that smooth so my hair is always getting snagged on them. I wouldn't purchase them again f...

Snag and pull hair
They are uncomfortable to wear. They pull on hair while in place and then pinch hair upon removal. The label also rubbed off very quickly. So cheap, don't bother!

Hair Type Straight Hair
I purchased these to be used when I am straightening my hair with flat iron. The clip is strong and holds my thick hair well.
Ugly and Flimsy
I bought both these and a different brand from Ulta. There seems to be no reason to buy these over the others as they're not any gentler unless by "gentler" they mean flimsy and lacking hold. Maybe it's good for fluffy curly hair, but these suck for my thick straight long/heavy Asian hair. And I absolutely hate the tacky childish pink color the more I look at them.
Not durable
Got these as a free gift with purchase. Used 3 times and broke. I'd say they're not worth purchasing if they're not going to last. (I only gently used them to hold hair back while cleansing face - for the record) Disappointing
