- Start with dry hair and section into manageable areas to work with
- Set iron to the desired temperature for your hair type
- Starting with a single section (about 1"), take iron and open the clamp. Starting at the top (use caution near the scalp), place the section between the barrel & clamp, then close
- With the clamp still closed, twist the iron in an outward direction (away from the face) and continue twisting as you move down the section until it's fully wrapped around the barrel
- PRO TIP: Stop wrapping when you reach the section's last ¼ - ½" so that some ends stay uncurled. This gives you a beachy feel
- Hold the section for 4-8 seconds (depending on hair type) then open the clamp and release
- PRO TIP: Once the section is released from iron, grab section from the bottom with your hand and reform the curl. Either hold it or pin it until it's cool. This helps styles last even longer
- Repeat with remaining sections

WAS GIVEN THE WRONG ITEM 3X
My mom ordered this for me for Christmas when I opened it I realized it was the wrong one, sent it back to get the correct one and they sent me the wrong thing 2 more times….
I returned it
This was not tapered as expected. it was flat and there was no "clamp" which was what I was looking for. This came with a heat glove. I already have a tapered curling iron with a glove. I was looking for one with a clamp.
Oval shaped
I also got an oval shaped after ordering this iron online. It was wrong so after going in store and asking for the normal tapered barrel the associate ordered it for me and I still got shopped this oval one. Maybe they don't make the plain tapered?

Perfect curling wand!
I've used a number of different wands and this one is awesome! Love the adjustable heat settings and ease of use. Curls come out beautiful. Hold it longer for a tighter curl, less for a beachy wave. Perfect for my medium length hair but can be easily used on many different lengths.
