Would not recommend if you are sensitive to smell
Thick and Glossy
This is such a gorgeous lip balm! I picked it up on a whim and wasn't sure what to expect after feeling how thick it was in the store, but I ended up loving it. Usually, I prefer thinner glosses and balms because I like the smooth feel when I rub my lips together, but this one is still very smooth despite its thickness. It's much longer-lasting than most of my balms and has a beautiful, high-shine gloss finish. I have the shade Strawberry Sorbet, which is a soft, slightly warm pink tint. It smells like sweet strawberries, and I love the scent. As it wears throughout the day, my lips stay pretty moisturized, though the gloss wears off (as expected), and it doesn't feel quite as smooth for rubbing my lips together after a while. I probably wouldn't layer it over anything other than a tint or stain since it's on the thicker side. The packaging also feels luxe and satisfying to use. Overall, this was a great purchase! If you're looking for a thick, glossy balm with staying power, this is definitely one to check out.
Viral doesn't mean equal fantastic
This is seriously the best lip treatment I've ever tried. Everyone loves all those viral ones like Rhode and Summer Fridays, because they are popular to like. Meanwhile they don't even come close to the Ole Henriksen. I have the clear and tinted and they keep my lips moisturized for hours. I bought these for all my bridesmaids at my wedding, love love these!
Nice formula, smells horrible
I am not usually one to be sensitive to smells, but the lingonberry jam and strawberry sorbet smelled disgusting to me. The formula was nice, not anything special, though. I prefer the Summer Fridays lip balms and will most likely stick to those if I can't find another scent suitable for me.
Not filled all the way
I got this yesterday and have used it twice now and it looks empty compared to my two others I have from this brand, and have been using for months. I'm disappointed I love this lip balm.
