- Press and hold the "Power button" for 2 seconds. The temperature level indicator turns on. The default temperature is level 2 (360°F), and automatically engage the negative ion feature
- Briefly press the power button to change the heat level. The corresponding temperature indicator will flash during the heating phase and become steady upon reaching the designated temperature. Choose the temperature according to your hair type, recommended settings are.
- 320℉ (160℃) for bleached, damaged, or fine hair.
- 360℉ (180℃) for normal or slightly coarse hair.
- 395℉ (200℃) for thick and coarse hair
- Long-press the power button for 2 seconds to turn off the device. All indicators will extinguish, and the heating element will cease operation.

Save your money
Takes forever to heat up. Pulls your hair. Loud. Awkward to use. The tool feels loose when straightening, you have to press down real hard. Time consuming to use.

Very small plates and space for hair to flow through. Not ideal for thick hair. The air feature is loud. Its a very akward tool overall. Increased time it took to style.
Meh!
My hair slips out of the barrel. Be nice to have a cooler tip so I can hold it tight to keep my hair from slipping out. My gray hair doesn't seem to hold the curl well.
Outside of barrel stays cool
This is a great tool! The outside of the barrel stays cool and its easy to work with. Does a great job for straightening and for curling. The "fan" is pretty loud, but it helps "set" what the iron has done so your style lasts longer. Handy and innovative! Good range of heat selections. My hair is thick and coarse and I use either the 2nd or 3rd setting. Both work for my hair. It glides thru my hair and doesn't "snag" or "pull" it. Once in a great while I accidentally bump the heat but I usually know I've done it, so it's easily and quickly fixed. I definitely recommend!
