So I had high hopes for this product because I've really liked some cheap drugstore primers before, but this just did not work for me. Great for Silicone-Based Foundations!
I used the original Smashbox Photo Finish for years, but I'm not as oily as I used to be in my 40s. This product smooths nicely and even makes makeup-free skin look slightly blurred. Be aware that silicone-based primers play best with silicone-based foundations. No pilling, sliding, separation when I use this primer. Since all the foundations in my rotation are silicone-based, I cannot vouch for this primer with a water-based foundation.

I love this face primer. I have used it for several years and it works better than most others to me. I also love the price compared to other brands.
Good Product for the Price
I used this product daily. I like that it does not lighten my skin tone or make me look pale like some other primers. The smell is a bit of a shock. It is a strong chemical/tea tree oil smell but it goes away after the product is blended it.
Poreless primer
I can't get enough of this primer it's not the most primer coverage but it's my daily go To with or without make up
Do not use with water based foundation
This primer should only be used with an oil based foundation.
