Most Helpful Positive Review I would recommend
By far the best eyelashes curler I have ever owned. I like the handles you can squeeze them with your finger tips and it makes it easy to curl multiple times. Fits my eye comfortably and doesn't pinch the sides of my eyes. I but this set for the curler an added bonus is the mascara it's soft clump free has a nice brush and doesn't flake.
Most Helpful Critical Review Looks good, but no so good.
This Tarte eyelash curler curled my stubborn lashes very well; however, after 10 to 12 months the springy part broke. I replaced it. One year later it broke again. I replaced it again. The changes that I notice with this new one is that the curve is less curved which fit the contour of my eyes much better and there is less pinching. The previous 2 that I had owned were more curved, that made it a bit difficult to get close to the base of my lashes. Also, the coating at the handle ends used to be hard plastic, but now they have a slightly softer rubber handle. The con with this comfort is: it gets dirty fast, my makeup easily sticks to it. Another change is that I now have to press down further on the handles to crimp my lashes which is what I proposed not to do to avoid breaking the springy part again. So I'm hoping it won't break sooner. I have to be gentle with the amount of pressure I apply to the handles. The dollar store curlers lasted me longer than these. I still have them, but the eyelash pads wear out very quickly. Tarte curl pads last me a long time. Oh and this Tarte eyelash curler doesn't curl my lashes as easily as my first one did. I have to crimp 3 or 4 times if I have the time. I don't use mascara but I tried theirs and it does make your lashes longer. The eyelash curler comes with one replacement curl pad, and one mascara. All of this used to be sold in a plastic bag, but now they sell them in a small box. I still haven't tried the best eyelash curler yet, but for a while longer I'll continue to settle for this one and my other brands in my makeup bags. It's a nice looking eyelash curler, but I would just recommend their eyelash curl pads for their durability.

Every time I use this curler my lashes get caught in the curler and the only way to get them out is to cut them or rip them out and it's really painful please please please do not but this

This pulled my eyelashes multiple times, not worth, the ELF one is way better!
Spring always busts!
Overthrowingawaymoney from Orange County
This was always my go-to lash curler until I finally got tired of going through them because of the spring constantly breaking (I'm not rough with it and don't even use it every day). Decided to venture out and found a dupe for $4 that is practically the same (just different color) but gives equivalent results. So far it has held up but if/when it does finally break I know I won't feel as bad throwing it away!
Best eyelash curler
Ruthie P from Wyoming
Gives a very nice curl and goes all the way down the lashes for consistency
Yes I would buy this product again, it's my favorite.
Terri from Riverside, Ca.
I use this product daily, I love it.

I've used this eyelash curler for as long as I could remember. It's an awesome curler, the only downside is that it will break. I've gone through 4 over the years, I never kept track of how long they lasted but they all broke the same way.
Meh. The Shiseido was out

Meh. The Shiseido one was out of stock. This was third or fourth choice...sorry, Tarte. It's just not as good. It's going back.

not worth buying

a few years ago, i bought one of these and it worked for three years. the spring snapped, and i thought it was my fault. in the summer, i got a new one of these and it didn't work as great as the old one. although it seemed fine so i continued using it. in march, i lost my whole left side of eyelashes from this curler (which had never happened with the one from before). i also noticed that it just snaps and breaks after it's been used for a while. i don't this recommend unless you want to end up with no eyelashes.
Painful and No Curl
Brandi from Kentucky
This doesn't seem to fit my eyelid properly and always pinches the skin... Along with that, there's no consistent curl results. The handle is also awkward to hold because it has such a wide grip.
Great at first, scary when it breaks
Lcbeutler from Indiana
I have had two of these, because I am either brave or foolish. They curl your lashes beautifully, but, after using them for a while, the spring mechanism snaps, and this usually happens very close to your eye while you're trying to curl your lashes. So, take that warning and maybe replace often if you want to take a risk?
Great lash curler!
Amanda from Burdett, NY
I absolutely love this lash curler. I had to buy a new one because I lost my last one. No other lash curler can compare to this! I won't use any other

Best eye lash curler I've tried. Does not take out my eye lashes!
JE from New Jersey
This curler is the best one I've ever used but it breaks easily. Every few months I need to buy a new one, I've gone through 2 already. It's the perfect shape and it doesn't pinch.
Yaritzia from Provo
Loved it! Super good grip, curls my eyelashes so good and does not pull on them what so ever. I've been using the Revlon eyelash curler and I always have to go in more than once so they can curl good and stay that way...Now with the tarts curler I just go in once and curls so nice!
Alyssa from Redding, CA
I have been buying this curler for a few years now and it makes my eyelashes look so good! I've tried other but none seem to work as well as this one. The only downside is the spring breaks so easily. The longest I've had one without it breaking is 8 months. I use it every day and I even use it after it breaks lol. Overall love this product just wish it was a little more durable.
michelle from seattle
i was just curling my lashes and the recoil mechanism snapped. i haven't even had it a year..
Pretty good- breaks easily
ko from dallas
I love this curler, but it breaks so easily! I am obsessed with having curly lashes, so I use it a lot, but I have gone through 5 within the last couple years. It sucks because I love how this curler makes my lashes look, I just wish it was more durable.
Worth it for the curler
Nikki from NYC
Tarte makes the best eyelash curlers. It's wide/big enough to fit all your lashes inside easily, even with falsies on. I used Shiseido's prior to this one but this is 10x better. Plus the actual handle part is so much more comfy than the scissor style ones. Hate the mascara.
Alyssa from Georgia
for all the stupid people saying it ripped ur eyelashes out its bc ur simply using it wrg
I did not like this product.
Madison from Colchester, VT
The handle is on a spring and opens too far, which makes the handles very hard to hold onto. The curler itself was also a weird shape so it did not seem to fit my eyes at all. I was not happy with this product.
Best eyelash curler!!!
Jocelyne from Los Angeles
I LOVE this eyelash curler, my eyelashes are very long and super straight and I've tried many eyelash curlers and none of them have made my eyelashes stay up. Even without mascara my eyelashes are still up!!!!
LuDizzle from West Chicago Il
None of my lashes have been ripped out yet and honestly that's all I ask for in an eyelash curler
No to the mascara
Amanda from San Antonio
Loved the curler. Didn't like the mascara. Very clumpy and dried out so quickly. Waste of money
