Most Helpful Positive Review Snooty Brand girl impressed by Drugstore buy I had stopped buying Drugstore brands for over ten years because I had such incredibly sensitive and acne prone skin until a recent family event left me financially struggling. On a whim, I picked up this little thing since I had no foundation for my little sister's graduation for her dual masters. The biggest reason I opted for WW Photofocus over other drugstore brands? They had the skin tone listed on the bottle and despite my concerns, it was a perfect match.
It used to be foundations (other than Bareminerals) would cause my skin to itch so bad after a couple of hours that sometimes I would even scratch til I bled or I would wake up with horrible breakouts. Even a decade later, after seeing an imunnologist, some makeup still does but this one didn't. It even impressed me that after my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class, most of it stayed on my face! Though, I still wouldn't recommend it for such activities.
It blended well with WW contour stick, hoola bronzer, and Tarte's contour stick. Definitely a staple on my vanity from now on.
Most Helpful Critical Review Save your money, don't buy this I bought this after seeing numerous "YouTube makeup guru's," raving about it. Although it is extremely affordable, I would have much rather put the $6 towards a different foundation. I applied with a brush- streaky. I applied with a beauty blender- patchy. Primer or no primer, powder or no powder, doesn't matter, it doesn't stay put. It even made my tarte shape tape look bad... creased everywhere it could- places I didn't even know I had fine lines!! I should have guessed my skin would be irritated and break out just by the heavy duty paint smell that this product has. My skin is now peeling (dry patches that I didn't have before) and small pimples (never been acne prone).
Really just an all around awful foundation. Don't let the price tag lure you in!

This honestly doesn't even deserve one star. It's awful!!! The smell is horrible and so strong. It didn't blend well at all and made my face look cakey. Do not recommend to anyone.
Nice, but flawed 3

I actually love the way this foundation looks! The color even matched my pale skin without making me look like a ghost. However, it seriously smells like wall PAINT. Just felt too odd to keep putting on my face...
Don't bother 2

I ordered this because of the price, but didn't feel it was worth it since it didn't stay on very long. Also, I have a little bit of hyperpigmentation and it didn't do a good job covering it up

It made my face break out so bad it hurts so much 1

100% wont recommend if your face breaks out easy cause it will feel like your face is open and burns when you touch it or even put water on your face

If you put this in a Chanel or Charlotte Tilbury bottle and slapped a $50 price tag on it no one would bat an eye. It's very thin yet has great coverage, and it lasts all day. I put off trying this for years because of some complaints about it having a bad smell (I'm super sensitive to fragrance of any kind) but I personally don't smell anything at all. It's a soft matte, not dry looking.
Wet n Wild Foundation 4

Feels very light-weight, the only thing is that it's not full coverage but it does the job.
Dry skin 4

If you have try skin this maybe isn't for you. I have really dry skin and this foundation looks more on the cakey side with me, but it does have nice coverage and stays on pretty good. I'm giving this 4 stars bc it's definitely worth a try for the price.

This is my holy grail foundation from the drug store! It matches my skin perfectly and doesn't feel or look cakey. However, it is not ideal for a long day with no touch ups.

This will be a holy grail drug store foundation for me 5

I heard a lot about this product and decided to try it out and I am happy I did. This product is amazing like the reviews on Youtube, the pigmentation of the foundation matches my skin and it is blend-able. Build-able from light- medium coverage, when I want to do a full coverage I usually use powder with the foundation and I'm good to go. It isn't tacky and or patchy and the sad thing is that it isn't long wear so I do have to retouch it within the 8 hour wear, I do have some flaws on my face and it does a great job covering it. I would recommend to anyone to try out this drugstore product. It can be a holy grail for you as it was for me.
Dry skin people, save your money. 2

I bought this foundation because of all the great reviews I saw on Youtube. Firstly, the shade that was closest to me was too pink and the shade next to that one was too orange. I have a medium/deep skin tone for reference. Secondly, it enhances my dry skin far too much. I take care of my skin on a regular basis and try to keep my skin hydrated as much as possible, but as soon as I leave the house with this foundation, I look 10 years older. There are so many other better foundations that are just as affordable and will make your skin look better. I would only recommend this to those with oily skin who strictly stick to matte foundations. And even then, beware.
It's okay 3

I bought this a while back when a YouTuber said she swore by it.
This foundation is ok. The color matches my skin and I love that! But it definitely does not last all day. I wipe my nose once and the foundation is gone no matter all the powder and setting sprays I've used. So now I only use this foundation if I'm going somewhere quick. If you're planning to use this to go somewhere that's an all day thing, look else where.
It doesn't last long enough 3

My skin type is dry for reference. The shade matching is great, but it doesn't last long. Especially in summer months! I'd look great in the morning and by lunch time, it was almost all gone.
This foundation gave me terrible acne 1

I like wet and wild products and have found good products from their company, however this foundation is horrible! It made me break out in acne that I'm having a hard time getting rid of. The foundation smells like paint and makes my skin oily. I have had tried a lot of donations and this one is the worst. Please avoid using this product!
so bad 1
liz from ny
this foundation stinks, it looks really dry on my face (i have oily skin), and no matter how thinly i apply it, it also ends up looking like paint. the shade range could also be better since none of these shades match me
No more orange face! 5
Zen09 from Indianapolis
Finding a drugstore foundation that works well for fair skin with pink undertones is difficult to impossible. Most are too dark, too yellow or go orange on light skin. Wet n Wild has figured out undertones! I found my perfect shade in Rose Ivory, a light shade with TRUE pink undertones. Gives a smooth natural finish, doesn't clog my pores or break me out. Best of all the price is unbelievable. With such a wide range of shades & undertones most ppl will find a good match. Recommend!
I would not buy this product again 1

The smell of this foundation is horrible and not only that I was not able to find my shady. This foundation oxidize like crazy.
Go-To Foundation for all occasions! 5
Laurena from San Francisco
Medium but buildable coverage. The applicator is a little spatula. I prefer this over a pump.
I LOVE wet n Wild products - they're very underrated. My skin on the drier side but I do get shiny throughout the day. For a not too matte and not too dewy I mix the two Photofocus foundations. Honestly whenever I buy a new foundation I compare it to this to see if they're worth it. This one always seems to win!
The smell bothers some folks so just FYI. It does have a paint-resembling fragrance😅 but I don't mind! I hope this product never goes away. It's a tried and true and forever my go-to.
Best for dry skin! 5

I've extremely dry skin, which also leans on sensitive so I'm always on the market for hydrating component in a makeup product. I usually don't wear foundation on day-to-basics, but more of a tinted moisturizer bc I prefer the light coverage, but I still wanted to give this a try and also wet n wild never disappoints. Oh..my..gosh. This is the best thing I've ever put on my face. It's hydrating and gives you a blurring filter, which it makes your skin look naturally ✨FLAWLESS✨ and gives you a subtle glow. You prob don't even need to add concealer if you want to just add bit more. However, it does have a slight paint smell which I'm not a fan off but I honestly don't mind at all. Wet N Wild, never discontinue this! Please try this, you won't be disappointed! Thank me later 😊
