It's barely, only lavender up front on your first apply, for a couple of minutes and you think "mm this is great, I love this and I am going to get the best sleep ever!"… and then it quickly dissolves into some deep, serious, earthy spiciness like tumeric or cardamom or patchouli; something sharp, and it is not good. It dries down overnight and you wake up secondhand smelling your own hands any time you roll over or re-adjust, and it smells like the old, OLD cologne that your italian grandfather just won't give up. The consistency feels nice going on, but leaves a greasy film and doesn't fully absorb. Oh! And it does absolutely nothing for your sleep. I'm glad I got this as a deluxe sample in a set and didn't pay full price. I will glady, GLADY stick to my Dr. Teal's, or Lush's "Sleepy" if I want any soothing lavender scent. And Magnesium glycinate on the side.
Irritated my skin
Purchased this during the 21 days of beauty event, hoping to like it and it help me relax and sleep. I put it on my left arm first, then my right arm, and my right arm began to itch extremely bad! I had to go wash it off, it was so irritating. It does smell amazing, though!
I'm obsessed with this scent
This lotion is very nice and buttery, but I bought a backup the same day because of how amazing it smells. The scent is very strong and mostly lavender. Might not be for everyone, but I LOOOOOOOOVE it!
Would not recommend
This is definitely not for those of us with sensitive skin. It made me break out into hives all over my legs (Thankfully the only areas I applied the lotion). The smell was overwhelmingly unpleasant and did the opposite of a perfect night's sleep. Returned asap.
Best body cream
This body butter smells AMAZING! it's very strong and mostly lavender sent, so if you are not a fan of lavender, it's not for you. I ordered a second tube when I got home and tested it. It feels rich and buttery on the skin. It's pricy, but so worth it.
