The original (dark gray can) , also has time release fragrance to leave your hair smelling fresh throughout the day. ACDS has a few additional benefits. It has oil control for the scalp, shine as well as manageability. The fragrance is lighter. Best application is to shake can and section hair. Spray approximately six inches from scalp. So my mom brought me this product and i looked it up online it was like wow! thats a little pricey! So then i tried it and i thought literally a possum died in the room i was standing in!!! i had to put in soo much sol de janeiro to get the smell out! but besides that i think if living proof came out with a new dry shampoo and it smells good, i will consider it.

I have fine straight hair and this product works great without weighing my hair down. I also use the living proof perfect day shampoo and conditioner. With this combo I can get away with washing my hair every other day. My hair never gets greasy or stringy with these products.

This is by far the BEST dry shampoo I have ever tried. I have very thin, fine, and oily hair and this dry shampoo is like magic. I just wish the price was a little lower but you get what you pay for. This is the only dry shampoo I use anymore and I will continue to buy!
