After shampooing + rinsing, depending on the thickness of your hair, squeeze a dime to quarter-sized amount into your palm. Apply to wet hair starting at the ends and working your way up to the top, avoiding the last inch or two near the root. Wait 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Meets all of my expectations for a purple shampoo! My hair is blonde and has the tendency to go a bit brassy with the hard water we have. I try to always use a purple shampoo, and was excited to try out this shampoo in combination with the matching conditioner. After even a week of using it, my hair is back to its normal silver undertone shine. This shampoo doesn't lather super well, but I still feel like my hair is clean. It is lightly scented and the fragrance doesn't follow me around like a cloud. I have really enjoyed using this shampoo!

This purple shampoo helps to reduce the brasiness of my blond highlights. It smells good and foams up nicely. I have used it a few times and seems to mute any yellow or brassy hair that comes after several washings. Wish it moisturized a little more as I have dry hair.

I recently tried Kristin Ess Hair's Purple Shampoo and It left me lacking. I normally only use my purple two, maybe three times a week for normal care, I tried that with this one and I was not seeing the same bright results. I ended up having to using it everyday to see similar results.

I have been a fan of Kristin Ess products for quite some time now so I knew I was going to love this product when I saw it. I am a blonde, who gets highlights 3-4 times a year, therefore I tend to rely on purple products in between salons sessions. After trying this shampoo, I was so happy and pleasantly surprised. Usually, purple shampoos don't foam very well during wash and tend to leave my hair feeling dry and brittle. However, this one did the exact opposite. I felt as if I had the moisture that my hair needed and the color was back to looking fresh and new. The brasiness that existed before, had disappeared and my hair had the blonde color that it should. My husband even commented, asking if I had gotten my hair done! I give this shampoo a 10/10 and cannot wait to continue using it (....well using it as needed).
