- Asked by jackie
- Official Answer By The INKEY List - Brand EngageGreat question! Our Oat Cleansing Balm is non-comedogenic and is safe to use on sensitive or acne-prone skin. It's worth noting that due to the natural ingredients, this is a nourishing balm that is rich in texture. So if you have an oily or combination skin type this one works best as a first cleanse to remove SPF and/or make up 🖤Was this answer helpful to you

My holy grail cleanser!!
I LOVE this cleansing balm! I have tried a lot of cleansing balms over the years, many that are much more expensive than this one. Hands down, The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm is my holy grail cleanser! I have very dry, acne prone skin and I use Tretinoin regularly so I need a routine that hydrates...

Horrible, inefficient product
I'm convinced either everyone else who's reviewed this positively has never tried other, much better cleansing balms, or that I've received a faulty unit. I honestly disliked everything about this product. The packaging feels and looks cheap and is really difficult to squeeze, especially when you've...

I´ve been using this cleansing balm for years, it removes stuff, doesn´t leave residue, it´s cheap and little goes a long way. I did not experience the grittiness other people have in latest batches. It is quite thick though and separates, and you´re unable to remix it. This results in liquid when you open the tube and too thick product when you finish the tube. Really nice balm though.

Good for a double cleanse

I personally did not love this cleanser by itself. It is incredibly moisturizing, but it made me feel like my skin wasn't fully cleaned, especially when I had makeup on. That being said, I did enjoy this one as part of a double cleanse. I would use this first to clean off my makeup then go back in with one of the acid cleansers. Yes, the moisturizing aspect is great for dry skin and I have combo skin. But I follow up with the hyaluronic acid serum and a moisturizer so my skin gets plenty of hydration. Good as a double cleanse but will probably not purchase again.
