The search for that "holy grail" product is something we all experience, looking for that one product that we cannot live without. As a 53 year old man who's tried plenty of hair oils over the years, Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil has really surprised me, and may be my "holy grail". I've used a variety ...

I've heard a lot of great things about Olaplex and was really excited to try the No. 7 Bonding Oil. My hair is sort of always in flux, currently it's thick, fine texture, and combo leaning towards an oily scalp with frizzy dry ends. I bleach and dye my hair with vibrant, rich colors and it's very im...

love this oil!
I curl my hair daily using a wand and the curls are normally floofy by the end of the day. This oil keeps it smooth ALL day. I went to Hawaii thinking my hair would have to be up the entire time because humidity makes it so frizzy. I had to use about six drops of oil after curling, but my curls stayed all night and very minimal frizz!
Hair Healthy Again
Tiny amount needed Work into ends of hair after dry and styled. Works amazingly! Smells great too. A little goes a long way!!
I would buy this product again and again
bleached hair is very dry so oleplex is a must
Great for ethic hair. Not too greasy, but very moisturizing
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This oil is great to use for my curly hair. It gives just enough moisture without making it greasy.
Olaplex? More like NO-laplex
Hair Type Wavy Hair
Long story short: it didn't work me for me at alllllll!!! And for the price I expect it to be at least good. However, I also understand that different hair types/thickness can play a factor. I prefer Ouai oil better. I have medium balayage hair (just cut it but I used this when I had long hair, too). I have wavy/curly (2c/3a curls) depending on what mousse or hair product I put to help with curls. During the winter, I use more heat and blow dry/straighten/curl my hair. I've used this oil on wet hair, dry hair, natural hair, styled hair, over/under products, by itself, a little bit, a lot, you name it. I tried it in sooooo many different ways to try to make it work for me. I hate saying this because I'm sure there's a whole team that worked really hard to make this product (and it's a highly regarded product from this brands) but it didn't work for me. Actually, I HATED it and could not wait to finish the bottle to get rid of it. If I wore my hair natural or styled it with heat, this oil didn't seem to do anything for my hair. This product claims to help with frizz and make hair 125% more shiny. It did neither for me. In fact, this week I used it everyday (bc I wanted to finish the bottle + also to see if I needed to apply more since I have thicker hair) and my hair still looked sooo bad/frizzy after applying this. This is VERYYYY subjective but I also disliked having to unscrew the bottle, dump the oil in my hands and then screw the bottle with my oily hand (or I'd have to go wash my hands). I prefer the Ouai oil AND bottle dispenser sooo much better!
