Strength Meets Definition for Curls That Last

Olaplex, a brand renowned for its bond-repairing technology, has introduced the Nº.10 Bond Shaper™ Curl Defining Gel, extending their innovative science into the realm of curls. As someone with naturally wavy-to-curly hair prone to dryness and frizz, I was eager to test this product, particularly si...

As a first time user of Olaplex Nº.10 Bond Shaper™ Curl Defining Gel, I found the outcome didn't entirely meet the desired results I was hoping for. Great Curl Definition with Room to Customize

I have 3A–3B curls with frizz and dryness, and I usually need thick products for hold. This gel has a medium-thick texture, and I had to use a generous amount to get the results I wanted. On its own, it might not be heavy enough for my hair, but when I combined it with a leave-in, it worked much better. My curls looked defined, soft, and more manageable. It didn't clash with the other product, which is a big plus. Some frizz came back by day two, but I'm sure with more testing, I can get even better results. Definition and care!

As someone with wavy to curly hair, I'm always on the hunt for a styling product that gives me definition without the crunch or buildup—and Olaplex No.10 Curl Defining Frizz Reducing Hair Gel is absolutely delivered. From the very first use, I noticed how lightweight yet effective the gel was. It defined my curls beautifully, giving them a more uniform shape and bounce, while keeping frizz under control. The hold is soft but long-lasting, and my hair still felt touchable, not stiff or sticky. My curls felt more hydrated, and I could tell the formula was supporting the health of my hair, not just styling it. I am a mature woman with gray hair. My hair is thin and curly. Although it is curly the ends usually end up straight and I have lots of frizz. I washed my hair and then used a towel to dry it. I used some of the olaplex curl defining frizz reducing gel. I put my head upside down and tried to section my hair. I twisted the pieces with my fingers and then used a diffuser to blow dry. I was pleasantly surprised. My hair was curly even at the ends with no frizz. My hair had soft curl no crunchy ends. I was very pleased with this product. This product was provided for promotional purposes in exchange for my honest review, and honestly, I was not that impressed by this gel. It didn't hydrate my hair at all, and it didn't create a cast. Not that gel needs to create a cast, but I felt like it wasn't doing much. If you like soft curls, then this might be the thing for you. I prefer more crunchy curls, so I'm going to find a different product.
