I bought this and used it with no issues for 6 months. Then last week it FRIED my hair. My long hair is DONE and still, after washing, smells burnt. My chi from 2006 is still going strong. Had this for less than a year and it stopped heating up. Turns on, buttons work but doesnt get hot. Everything is garbage these days.

I highly recommend this brand and their irons. They last extremely long. Works great on my hair. I recently just purchased a new one. Just because i adore this brand

Not worth it
I bought this on sale thankfully! When i got it i was disappointed. From the packaging to the tool itself. Firstly, the package came bent and squished. For the original amount it cost i would say its not worth it.After opening it i was suprised at how lightweight and cheap it felt. I do like that it takes one streak to get my hair type straight. However the biggest downside is the rubber grips because it pulls hair. Its better to section each piece unless you want your hairs getting pulled each time. Now for the exterior heat plates, they dontheat up as much. For the price i paid or even the original amount i would have gone for a different brand.
