Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, reapply after 8O minutes of swimming or swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.

How do you know what number to pick

- Official Answer By Black Girl Sunscreen - Brand EngageSPF 30 is great for daily use and is especially ideal on days when you’re mostly going to be staying at home and may not be receiving much direct sunlight. SPF 45 is more suitable to wear on days when you may only be receiving a modest level of sunlight, such as slightly warmer days. This will help keep your skin in top condition and protect you from burning and skin cancers. We mostly recommend wearing SPF 50 on days when your sun exposure is going to be extremely high, such as afternoons on the beach. i hope this helps.Was this answer helpful to you

I really wanted to like the product. When I was using the product I started noticing cystic acne on my chin and jaw. I though it was hormonal, but I researched and saw that this sunscreen had the potential to clog skin which it did to me. Also very greasy, my face looked very oily throughout the day...

Loved it but not the scent..
I've always loved this sunscreen because it always did my skin right. I wanted to try this because I was curious about the vanilla scent and I just ended up not being a huge fan of it but I still liked the sunscreen overall. One time purchase for me.
Residue alert
This may work if you're fair skinned but not brown to dark

Before using this BGS I never struggled with breakouts. Random bumps pops up on my cheeks and chin now. Made the decision today to stop using this. Also makes u really greasy so if u have oily skin try the matte. Doesn't leave white film either. I wanted to love this product. I've used it for 2 years but I can't take the breakouts anymore.
