Most Helpful Positive Review Pretty good I use this on my face twice a day, and it is super gentle and moisturizing, a little goes a long way, but I use a little more than a little because my serum is a tad bit drying. If you rub it in vigorously, it gives a little bit of a white film so I try to be careful with that, but overall a really great product with no fragrance!
Most Helpful Critical Review Doesn't work well with my makeup. I've used the regular Cetaphil moisturizer formula for several years, but this new reformulation isn't so great. While I haven't had any breakouts from it, it definitely has a different feel to it. A bit greasy feeling. It leaves more of a surface layer feel whereas the previous formula absorbed and left my skin with a normal texture. My makeup (which is ONLY concealer and pressed powder!!!) has a hard time sticking to my face now. I actually don't mind the moisturizer on its own and my skin has responded well, but since I do prefer to wear makeup it's becoming impractical for me and I think I'll need to try something else. That sucks because everything else I've tried breaks me out! I think I'll only be able to use this new formula for nighttime and on my body.
*BTW* please be sure to compare the old and new ingredient lists before writing a review! Some reviews have said the reformulated product only now contains certain things, one being avocado oil, but the previous version also had it. But yes, they did both add and subtract various ingredients during this switch.

Does wonder for my dry, sensitive skin! 5
Michelle from Texas
Its been over a week since I bought this product. I use this in both my morning & nighttime routine & its kept my skin from getting dried up & flaky. With it being the winter season right now, my skin gets SO dry it flakes, & this has helped immensely!
Changed Formula or Something 3
Bumpy lady from Arizona
This does what a lotion is supposed to do but as a person with dry skin and kp this didn't do what it used to do. It's not as thick as it used to be, somethings definitely changed because it doesn't leave my skin as soft as it used to
Best for Dry Itchy Skin 5
Best for Dry Itchy Skin from Indianapolis
I use started using this lotion a few weeks ago to help with my dry itchy skin and it has completely changed my skin! I noticed a difference after one night of using it. The next day my skin felt so soft and it was not itchy or flaky at all. I love this stuff and will continue to purchase!

I would never buy this again 1

I would strictly buy their old formula all the time because I suffer from eczema and it was the only thing that I knew worked for my skin besides my vanicream cleanser. I tried their new formula and my skin was stinging a few seconds after applying it to my face and then after i got out of the shower my face was red hot and felt swollen. It felt my I put lip plumber on my face. My boyfriend has normal skin and nothing happened to him but if you have very sensitive skin I wouldn't buy this product
How could it be noncomedogenic with avocado oil? 2
Heather the mom from Gilroy
I am very disappointed in this product change. This product had been one of the only products that didn't have a negative reaction to my sensitive, acne prone face. This new bottle arrived in the mail with a "new and improved" label and immediately I panicked. Sure enough I see avocado oil which is a 3 (moderate) conmmedogenic rating.
Burned my face 1
Lis from Nc
I bought this as a head to toe moisturizer, it burns. My hypersensitive face did not like this at all. Works great for my body though.
New Formula 3
Katniss from Dallas, Texas
Unfortunately they decided to reformulate this product. It seems to hydrate my body well enough, but it burned upon applying it to my face, which is totally a bummer because the original product never did that. The new formula has fewer ingredients and they decided to add niacinamide as well.
It burned?!? 2

The label says dry and sensitive skin which I have but for some reason it stung my face and made it turns red. I read the ingrdients and have absolutely no idea what one would have given me this reaction, all the ingredients seem perfectly fine for sensitive and dry skin. I have had a skin reaction this bad only one other time.
