Hi, In one of your answers, you indicated that this product contains only water soluble silicones. However, amodimethicone is not water soluble. Therefore, the information you provided is incorrect.

The highly basic nature of the primary amine groups causes this silicone polymer to develop a net positive charge in aqueous systems over a wide pH range. Great conditioner. I don't need to use styling product when using it. I just shampoo, towel dry hair a bit, then apply conditioner; Finger comb, sometimes scrunch and then just air dry. Hair looks great and curls stay. Between shampoos will wet hair and apply conditioner with great results. Pho...

I applied a dime sized amount of this to my shoulder length hair while damp. My hair is 2B, bleached, fine, and high porosity (even in the unbleached areas). The goal was increased moisture retention and less frizz. This leave in did seem to do both of those things, but my hair's texture seemed off...

TLDR: unexpected formulat

TLDR: unexpected formulation change that made my hair feel dehydrated. I had purchased the trial/travel size version of this product and loved it so much that I decided to get the full version. Upon opening the full version, I noticed it smelled completely different than the trial version I was using. Comparing the two bottles, it turns out there was a major formula change between the two. At first it seemed like the different formulation was no big deal as it gave my hair a lot of slip while wet but that quickly went away as my hair began to dry and instead felt dehydrated and frizzy. Thankfully it works great for another family member so it wont go to waste.
