Great conditioner. I don't need to use styling product when using it. I just shampoo, towel dry hair a bit, then apply conditioner; Finger comb, sometimes scrunch and then just air dry. Hair looks great and curls stay. Between shampoos will wet hair and apply conditioner with great results. Pho...

I applied a dime sized amount of this to my shoulder length hair while damp. My hair is 2B, bleached, fine, and high porosity (even in the unbleached areas). The goal was increased moisture retention and less frizz. This leave in did seem to do both of those things, but my hair's texture seemed off...

Started Off Okay, But Flaked Off in a Few Hours
I have very thick, wavy hair and this product was recommended to me by a stylist at Ulta. I used a small amount after I washed my hair and I liked the effect it created holding my waves and helping my hair look less dry on the ends. Unfortunately a few hours later I noticed a snowstorm on my black top. The leave-in conditioner had dried and flaked off, looking like dandruff! Nope, back it goes!
Changed the ingredients
I loved the moisture lock leave in conditioner how it worked and the smell. Recently bought the same thing and it smells horrible and does not work good. Checked the ingredients and they changed them, but it doesn't say that on the front. Also loved the advanced climate control heat and humidity gel stronger hold one. But recently bought a new bottle didn't notice much of a cast after using it thought maybe it was something I did then decided to check the ingredients because of the leave in conditioner change and yes, they have changed some of the ingredients and added some that weren't in this formula before. Going to try it one more time, but if I'm not satisfied, I will be returning it to Ulta and changing brands which is depressing since I've used this brand for years now. Saw another complaint online about this, and they insinuated that maybe because of all their new products they're trying to save money by changing the ingredients which she's right will hurt their business.
Smells like urinal cakes
I purchased this b/c I like the moisture lock regular conditioner, and was looking for a new leave-in. The smell is strong, and stinks like urinal cakes or a porta-potty. I tried it once hoping the smell would fade quickly, but it lingered in my hair.
Good for wavy to curly hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This was good. Not great. I have slightly wavy hair and I was hoping I could wash and go with this but it required a little more effort to style. It overall did a good job and gave me consistency and volume that didn't feel heavy or greasy.

Hi, In one of your answers, you indicated that this product contains only water soluble silicones. However, amodimethicone is not water soluble. Therefore, the information you provided is incorrect.

The highly basic nature of the primary amine groups causes this silicone polymer to develop a net positive charge in aqueous systems over a wide pH range.
