Not great.
I applied a dime sized amount of this to my shoulder length hair while damp. My hair is 2B, bleached, fine, and high porosity (even in the unbleached areas). The goal was increased moisture retention and less frizz. This leave in did seem to do both of those things, but my hair's texture seemed off...

Product is average. I followed directions, but did not get the results it promised. Also left my scalp itchy and dry, which were the issues it was supposed to get rid of. For the money, there are less expensive products that work better.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've tried a lot of leaving conditioners over the years, and this one honestly surprise me. My hair gets dry and frizzy really easily, especially after heat styling and the Ouidad Moisture lock, leaving conditioner made my hair feel soft without feeling heavy or greasy. It helped to find my waves/curls and made brushing through my hair so much easier. I also noticed my hair stayed moisturized longer between washes, which is a huge plus for me. The scent is light and clean, not overpowering at all. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than I expected. Definitely wore trying if your hair needs extra moisture or tends to get frizzy.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Ouidad Moisture Lock leave in conditioner may be difficult to figure how to pronounce but it isn't difficult to use! I apply it to my damp hair and either let my hair dry or style it with the blow dryer. Great results each time. The scent is very light.

Hi, In one of your answers, you indicated that this product contains only water soluble silicones. However, amodimethicone is not water soluble. Therefore, the information you provided is incorrect.

The highly basic nature of the primary amine groups causes this silicone polymer to develop a net positive charge in aqueous systems over a wide pH range. By sealing the cuticle we protect the curl from any moisture depletion which leads to dehydration and damage. Water soluble silicones do not build up.
