HOW TO APPLY:
Dispense Tinted Moisturizer on the back of your hand and use it as a palette.
Picking up a small amount from back of the hand, apply with fingers, smoothing over face in a downward motion to ensure facial hairs lay flat.
Laura recommends starting at the outer portion of the face and working inwards toward the nose, avoiding excess application around the contours of the face.
Pat on additional product to build coverage where needed.
Laura's finishing touch, inspired by a Parisian facial technique, is to smooth the remaining product under the jawline, neck, and chin.
PRO TIPS:
To build more coverage, pick up product on the back of hand using a foundation brush and work Tinted Moisturizer into the bristles on a clean area on back of the hand. Stipple onto any areas that need additional coverage.
If a fuller coverage is desired, mix a few drops of foundation into Tinted Moisturizer to get more pigment.

Thanks so much to Laura Mercier who so kindly gifted me with a free Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Blurred Matte Skin Tint to try and review. This was such an awesome product to receive and test out, from the first application I was impressed. The tinted moisturizer goes on so smooth,covers, blends seamlessly and left my skin feeling completely moisturized under the matte finish. The tint provides full coverage similar to a foundation and only a single layer was needed for a full face. Application lasted during day and night, also continued to feel moisturized without a greasy feeling. The matte blur gave me such a smooth texture and looked as if my makeup had been professionally done. The color was unfortunately too dark for me, but I'd love to try it again with a shade that matches my skin tone. Really great product, quality as always and well worth a purchase in the near future.

Laura Mercier was sweet enough to send me their Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Blurred Matte Skin Tint to try out for free and I sincerely appreciate the kindness. I've been a customer of the brand for a while and routinely use a few different products, so I was super excited about the opportunity to try this one out and give my review. First impression was how pleasantly smooth and full the tint applied, consistency is very rich but also very light. It felt great on my skin, barely there..no excessive blending needed. Surprisingly, it's closer to a full coverage foundation than a skin tint or tinted moisturizer, which was nice surprise..felt like I was getting more than I expected, a bit of an upgrade. A little goes a long way and it blends very nicely, a few drops is enough for medium to full coverage wear. One application lasted throughout my day with no retouches. What I loved most was the matte finish, it's perfect..light, not too dry, nor greasy, gives a professional studio effect and the oil free finish is great for spring and summer weather. As far as shade, 4N Teak was slightly orange and brassy in tone and a few shades darker than my actual complexion. A bit more of a highlighter effect than tinted moisturizer with this shade…which also works! I'm sure color matching in person would give me an ideal shade. Really enjoyed the weightless feel, coverage, moisturizing qualities, amount of product and how well it both blended and set. So I'm honestly going to give the tint a second go and purchase after a proper color match to my skin tone. Hoping to make it a staple in my routine and pair it with the Luminous Perfecting Pressed Finishing Powder…definitely going for a consistently fresh face and perfectly smooth finish all summer.

I have oily skin and by noon I am usually soooo oily! However, with this product I made it through the day without the embarrassment of a shiny face. I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone with oily skin.
The formula must have changed
This is the second one that I have purchased. I loved the first one! I like this one. The color is good and does not irritate my skin. The problem is the consistency of this new formula. It has separated, 2 days anfter I purchased it. I need to shake it repeatedly, to get the consistency back. I've never had to do that with any other CC cream or foundation. I checked the expiration date, thinking it was old, but it's fine. I just hope it holds up.
Fair shade range needs work
The fair shade range is unfortunate. 0N Silk being described as "very fair with neutral undertones" feels very off. I am fair but absolutely not the fairest, yet this color is borderline too dark for me, and the tone does not seem neutral to me at all, looks slightly peachy. The formula is nice but the color match is not there.
