Very inconsistent formula!
Let me start off by saying when the formula/consistency is correct this is the BEST everyday exfoliator EVER! I have used this for years. Good product, Bad dispenser
Although I couldn't untwist the dispenser pump (quit trying after 90+ rotations, and then it broke off) I found the product to be gentle enough for normal skin and gritty enough to cleanse without being harsh. The texture is more gel-like than slimey, thankfully, and the fragrance is light and fresh. If you're looking for just "plain grains" for a gentle scrub, this may not be your choice, and if you have truly sensitive skin this may not be your choice, either.

I like philosophy products but this was very disappointing, pump does not work.
Gentle, but not for super sensitive skin
I can see how this would work for most people. My skin is very very dry and sensitive and it feels a bit too abrasive to use every day. I use it twice a week and it works well. I like how the scent isn't overpowering!
I like this product.
Unfortunately the pump doesn't work on my bottle so I have to open it up every time, which is a pain.
