For a subtle lipstick look:
- After creating your desired lip shape, tilt the pencil at an angle and gently glide across lips.
- Lock in with a coat of your favorite lip balm, or for a pop of shine, top with a swipe of Light Lock Lip Gloss in shade ''Not All At Once''
For a defined Cupid's bow:
- Draw an ''X'' with your pencil. Start at the highest point on one side of your lip and draw a diagonal line along the inner curve of your lip.
- Repeat on the other side. 3. Apply lip color, making sure to stay within the lines.

Great...until you need to sharpen it.
I like these liners a lot. But once I need to sharpen one of them I have to stick it in the jumbo side of my sharpener & whittle away at it like a darn wood carver & pray I don't waste even more product as it just keeps crumbling & crumbling. Love the color
Last month, I recently purchased About Face's Matte FIx Lip Pencil in the shade of Backseat Love. It's a cool pink shade that compliments my skin well. Easy to apply to line lips with the pencil. It stays on, and works well with any pigmentation. I would check out more colors from them into the future.

I purchased this online at half off because the color Lost Time (matte red wine) looked gorgeous- and it is. Unfortunately, it's TOO matte and applies very clumpy- leaving blobs of color that are very VERY hard to blend. Other matte lip pencils I own are not this difficult to use. I used this a few times and then put it aside and forgot about it until recently. Tried it again and the issues persist. I am going to try using it over a layer of lip balm to make it work because I already own it but I would not buy it again and do not recommend it.
