Press the mascara brush into lashes, close to roots, and shimmy brush through from roots to tips to separate and build lashes.
Over-the-top volume can be achieved quickly with this fibre-packed formula, so apply to one eye at a time.

Does this mascara come off easily with soap & water?

Always looking for a new mascara
I am a sucker for a new mascara mainly because I was blessed with short and barely visible asian lashes and eyelids. There is a trick to applying, but it lengthens and creates fullness to my lashes. I scrape all excess off the brush before applying. I have had no issues. my favorite mascara.
Smudge
This is so pretty when you leave home, by mid afternoon it smudges and flakes off, leaving the raccon eye effect. I was expecting so much more from MAC.
Mac quality products for deeper skin tones
First let me say how much I love Mac products. The quality, color pay off and price point are excellent. That being said, this mascara was not what I expected. It flakes terribly, it smudges, the flakes fell into my eyes after approximately two to three hours of wear. It is not very black, it is not buildable and did not appear to extend my lashes . It does smell good. I did enjoy the tapered brush for reaching lashes close to corner of my eye. Would not recommend or repurchase.
Amazing mascara as long as you buy the travel size..
So interesting.. I wanted to post this review to help others. I first tried this mascara out when I saw a travel size in store near checkout. I became instantly hooked. I used to use benefit theyre real mascara religiously. This MAC, for me, was even better. So when the travel tube ran out I decided to buy the full size since I loved it so much… WELLLLL, the full size tube sucked sooo badddd compared to the travel which is absolutely wild to me. So long story short, if you hated this and only tried the full size, try the travel.
