It's easy to switch out, reduces plastic waste, and is environmentally friendly. The tweezers attached to the lid are both hygienic and convenient. Let's be honest, we all feel a bit icky touching pads with our fingers, right? Although it takes some getting used to, the tweezers are still better than using hands. +I'm almost out and wanted to buy just the refill without the outer case, but they don't sell it separately. It makes me wonder if this defeats the purpose of being eco­friendly... That's a bit disappointing. Product When I first opened it, there was plenty of essence sloshing around. However, since the essence settles at the bottom, the top layer tends to dry out. I tried flipping it to moisten the top... but forgot about the tweezers on the lid. Ended up having to clean the lid and tweezers. I guess it's better to just use them as is, even if the top is a bit dry. Usage and Effects Typically, people use pads for cleansing after washing their face, but I recommend using them as a mask. The pads themselves are very thin and non­irritating, so they're fine for cleansing too. Compared to Cel**us G** pads, Mediheal is definitely less irritating. However, if you have super sensitive skin, definitely use them as a mask. The pads adhere well due to their thinness and have a cooling effect that's great for reducing skin heat. It's perfect to put on your forehead and cheeks while drying your hair after a shower. I've been using this for hydration lately. If you use it as a mask, finish your skincare routine, and go to sleep, your skin looks great the next day. I have blemishes and scars all over my face, but the ones on my cheeks have significantly faded. It's worth trying even if you're not specifically looking for scar treatment. Ingredients There are two ingredients that aren't great for sensitive skin. They're fine for me, but if you're sensitive to these, make sure to test before buying. Oiliness and Blemishes First off, I have oily skin. Strangely, whether I use this as a mask or exfoliating toner, it leaves my skin feeling oily. After absorption, you can really feel the oiliness, and it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin. Because of this, my skin feels a bit stuffy after skincare, and I've developed a few small blemishes around my butterfly zone. However, these usually subside after a day or two of sleep, so I didn't deduct any stars. The blemishes aren't painful, just small red bumps, so I wasn't too bothered by them. 1. Use it as a mask rather than an exfoliating toner. You don't even need to refrigerate it ­ the cooling effect makes your skin feel refreshed. 2. If you have oily skin, I recommend using it at night rather than in the morning. As I mentioned in the cons, it can leave an oily residue and sit on top of the skin, so using it during the day when you're sweating and producing more sebum might lead to blemishes.
