Too oily, doesn't remove makeup completely, hard to take off
I tried this as my first step of my nightly face routine and I don't know, I didn't particularly like it. So, you apply this directly onto your dry skin with dry hands and you're supposed to rub it on and then rinse off with water. Well, it doesn't really remove your makeup very well. It just smears...

Clearing my skin
I had what is called "fungal acne" I was using bioderma micellar water before I bought the oil and it would strip my skin. I switched to the oil and my skin doesn't feel tight my face is clearing and makes me feel so comfortable instead of that tight feeling .
Works but smells awful
I tried this cleanser for the first time and find it effective and gentle, but the smell is terrible. I would not recommend

Unlike heavier oils, it has a fluid, lightweight texture that feels easy to massage over the face and emulsifies into a milky finish when water is added.

I really wanted to love this Bought a travel size to take on a trip with me. I had to wash my face 2x after because it did nothing for the makeup I was wearing. I'll stick with the prequal cleansing oil which is far superior!
Great Dupe for Shiseido-old formula
Fits the bill for light oil, rinses cleanly off, no need to double cleanse. Not greasy. But also not very moisturizing. Takes off reg mascara and liquid eyeliner. Shiseido changed their formula, and this works like the old formula for less money.
