- Asked by Winnie
- Official Answer By SKIN1004 - Brand EngageHello, if your skin barrier is compromised, it is best to minimize irritation and focus on hydration. SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Blue Serum has also completed low-irritation testing, but we would recommend using products that are specifically formulated to soothe and hydrate sensitive skin. Within our range, particularly the Centella Ampoule and Centella Cream, may help provide relief and support skin recovery. Thank you.Was this answer helpful to you

Decent serum but not for me
I like the feel of it and the smell but I will say I had some break outs with it. I applied it after cleansing and toning, but before my moisturizer. It didn't burn or sting, but a few days after using, I had some breakouts on my cheek and chin. My skin also felt a bit more dry even with my tried an...

I've been using this facial serum for a few weeks now, and I'm really impressed with the results. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky feeling. My skin feels more hydrated, smoother, and looks healthier overall. I also noticed an improvement in my skin tone and a natural glow. It works well under makeup and doesn't cause irritation. I would definitely recommend this serum to anyone looking to improve their skincare routine."

This serum is overall a very good product, especially if you're looking for something calming and hydrating. The Centella-based formula feels gentle on the skin and helped soothe irritation, and once it fully absorbs, my skin feels comfortable and balanced. I also appreciate that it doesn't cause breakouts or sensitivity. That said, my main downside was the application experience. The texture has a slightly dry or draggy feel, making it a bit difficult to spread evenly across the entire face. I found myself needing to work quickly or use more product than usual to avoid tugging on the skin, which wasn't ideal. Despite this, the serum performs well after application and layers nicely with moisturizer. If you don't mind the initial texture or plan to apply it to damp skin, it can still be a great addition to a skincare routine.
