Dry, hard, sheer and not dark skinned friendly
As soon as I received my order and opened the cap, I knew this wouldn't work as a lip liner. I'm in the dark range (Covergirl 875, Lancome 500w Suede, FitMe 355/360) and the 'dark' brown shade barely matches my skin tone let alone being dark enough to work as a lip liner. Pretty color and easy to apply. However there isn't a ton of product in the tube. And the formula is a little drying and smells like crayons. Still pretty great though, especially as a mini lipstick. If you just what it as a liner though I would recommend just buying the pencils version. It's a lot cheaper and creamier, and there are more color options.

guys you actually need this. i love elf yeah but this liner is on a whole other levelll. i have pale skin and i love the light brown on me i use it nearly everyday because its such a easy casual color, i can use it basically as lipstick because its so easily spreadable and not dry or drying and it lasts so long and does not have a weird consistency (unlike other liners ive tried). i'm purchasing my fourth one after i finish writing this. get one.
