As much as I love this eyeliner - I have worn it for years - I absolutely hate that the product dries up halfway before you've used it all. I always end up throwing away half the pot to replace it with new eyeliner that won't flake and will spread nicer, given me even coverage. Once I get my new pot...

Okay, I'm kind of obsessed with this gel liner. The formula applies so smoothly — no clumping, no dragging, no patchy spots — so whether I want a soft smudged shadow-liner look or something sharp and precise, it just cooperates. It also sets fast, which I appreciate when I'm layering shadow on top or just trying not to smear it all over my lid before it dries. If I want it more opaque I'll usually go over the line twice, or just retrace it once it's set. And even though this thing does not budge once it's on — genuinely smudge-proof, lasts all day — it never gets that dry, cracky feeling some long-wear liners get by hour six. My favorite part might actually be how easy it comes off at night. So many long-wear formulas make you scrub, but this one wipes away without a fight. I am absolutely loving this Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner! I got it in the shade Denim Shimmer Ink, and it is such a gorgeous dark blue color with just the right amount of sparkle. It goes on super smooth with a brush and actually stays put all day long without smudging or fading. A little bit goes a long way, so this small pot is going to last me forever. I have trouble with my lids (as they age). Eyeliner skips and I also have droopy lids, so it sometimes smudges onto my eyelids. This eyeliner is a game changer! Easy to go on and has lasted in the humidity here. Thank you, thank you!!

I love this eyeliner but my last purchase dried up quickly and i made sure the cap was on tight. Any advice? I don't wa t to waste my money again

We’re so glad you love the Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner but totally understand how frustrating it is when it dries out so quickly, especially when you made sure the cap was on tight. A couple of things that can help - try to close it right away after each use and avoid leaving it open while you’re doing the rest of your makeup, since even a little air exposure can start to dry the formula. Some customers also find that storing the jar upside down helps keep the product fresh, and gently swirling your brush in the pot can warm it up if it feels a bit dry on the surface.
