I've been a lip balm addict for decades. It is also fair to say that lipstick would be my one "desert island" item, so when I can purchase a balm that provides a hint of color, it's like the best of both worlds Unfortunately, 99% of the tinted lip balms I've purchased the last 10+ years have disappointed me. They've either been a lipstick masquerading as balm (e.g., the drying Dior Baume) or the formula is sheer but either unbearably slimy, or it feels wonderful but my lips feel worse with continued use. Some balms, such as those "self adjusting" shades, have even caused cracks at the corners of my mouth. Not with LipDrink. I have been testing Crush all day every day for a few weeks, and the formula has not bothered my lips over time. Normally, things go downhill after the second full day of testing a new tinted balm, but I am well past that now. I even put Crush on before bed and wake up with plump, rose-tinted lips. This balm's plant oils and antioxidants seem to be improving the texture of my lips from the inside out. I was concerned that the SPF and citrus might be irritating, but those worries were unfounded. Application is a little stiff, but I like that because it means the color won't slide all over my face. The formula is initially shimmery but it dries down to a satin finish. I feel an instant tingle that fades within seconds. The color does not feather on me, and I really layer it on, a minimum of 2-4 swipes on upper and lower lips. I can feel the moisture for hours, whereas most other natural lip balms seem to wear off instantly. If I press my lips together hours later, I can feel the seal of LipDrink, but there is no sticky, tacky feeling. It's pretty weightless. I apply often, because it is a pleasure to do so, but really, I could apply twice a day and my lips would derive the same benefits. Much of the color fades within 1 waking hour, but if I am not eating, drinking, or talking, there will be a hint of tint 4 hours after application. I find it leaves a *very* moderate stain, which I like. My lips are fairly pigmented (rosy blue mauve), so Crush is a great match for me. I suspect Flirt wouldn't show up, and Buff would be too warm. I absolutely love this balm, and I have already purchased my second, so I can leave one at home, and carry one with me.
Oh, how I wanted to love this lip balm. I am so picky when it comes to lip balms, so I was excited for this based on the number of great reviews. What a letdown this was for me. I want a lip balm to be both translucent and hydrating, which has been nearly impossible for me to find. I purchased this in Sheer, since I don't like tinted lip balms, and it left a white film on my lips - it truly looked terrible. Perhaps, one of the tinted versions would have been better, but this one was just awful. I didn't even wear it long enough to say whether or not it works to moisturize because I couldn't get past the color it turned my lips. I liked the lemon flavor, personally; it was a nice change from the mint ones I'm used to using. It also did feel nice when I applied it and for the few minutes I wore it. My go-to is Eos Smooth Stick Lip Balm and it looks like it will remain that way. I'm not certain I will even use the rest of this tube, I will probably just pitch it. For the price, I expected far better. As far as a rating goes, I gave it two stars for the flavor and the way it feels on my lips.

I feel like the "Flirt" wasn't as moisturising as the buff or the Tease

I like the color. The only thing that I wish it could stay longer on the lips.
