I absolutely love Kopari. This lip balm is nice but for me feels a bit waxy. I love the tints, I have a few different shades, but not my favorite lip balm. I use a liner, so don't know if the combo makes a difference..

Honestly, this lip balm is just so good in every way! It smells delicious! Like it smells like an actual ice cream shop! The texture is silky, the finish is luminous, and it's actually so hydrating! Sometimes I wear it to bed, and in the morning my lips are actually more plump and pink. The only things that would level it up for me are more sparkle or shimmer, and if they could somehow add a mineral spf without compromising everything else about the formula. (Originally I actually thought this one also had SPF and was sad when I got it and found out that it didn't. Maybe it's better that way though because I tried all the lip love balms and the others with SPF were all total misses for me unfortunately. See my review on the beige for more info if you're interested.). This balm has definitely become a staple balm for me though, and I regularly reach for it! LOVE IT! Please keep it around!

I wanted to love this product so badly. I was so excited about it and I jumped at it because I have been on the hunt for a good mineral spf lip balm for years. I have also been a big fan of the Kopari brand for years, and have actually been waiting and hoping for them to release a product like this for a long time. Sadly, this one missed most of the marks for me. While the texture is nice, the color is definitely not good on every skin tone (as I find with almost every other mineral spf lip balm), and it smells like wet paint, despite the description saying it's supposed to have a light coconut scent. I thought maybe I got a defective tube, but was told by customer service that it was probably just because the scent on this one was more subtle than the others. No offer to exchange. I even went to Ulta and smelled theirs, and it was the same. That said, it still shouldn't smell like wet paint, so either increase the fragrance in this one or go back to the drawing board. Now I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, and I also just really love this brand, so I also wanted to try the other shades. All misses. The scents are better and truer in the strawberry and watermelon balms, but the colors just look awful on me. I think the colors all need to be adjusted and sheered out maybe. The only one that I love is the Vanilla balm. That one is just chef's kiss! The smell is delicious, the texture is silky, the finish beautiful and luminous, and it is overall a really superior lip balm. If they could add *mineral* spf to the Vanilla without compromising everything else about it, it would take it to the next level.
