Moisturizing but wish it was more pigmented for 2 toned lips

I have so much to say about this the NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in the shade Dolce Vita! The first thing that I love is that it's shaped/packaged like a lipstick, but of course operates as a slightly tinted lip balm. I like this sort of packaging because it gives the lip balm a more elegant and classy ...feel rather than just squeezing lip balm out of a plastic tube. It comes with a good amount of product, too! In regards to the feel of applying the product itself, it glides right on and your lips will feel moisturized just after a few applications. It's not sticky, thick, or heavy, which are all things that I look for in lip products because I get rather irritated or overstimulated otherwise. There's no scent to the product which is good for people that are sensitive to specific scents. As a South Asian with brown skin and two toned lips, the main thing I was interested in seeing is if this lip balm is tinted enough to add smooth, balanced levels of pigment to both my lips when used alone. Unfortunately, I think this shade is a little too light for that. While my lips were moisturized, the tint itself was not enough to shade in my lips the way I wanted to. I tried the lip balm as a top coat to some lipstick and I liked it much better that way. I especially like that it added a sheer, moisturized look to my lips overall. For others with brown skin and two toned lips, I would probably try a darker shade like hot line - black cherry if you want a more smoothly pigmented look on your lips!
