Start with hair that is completely dried & detangled before using Le Spirale XL. Prior to styling, apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice. Then begin by separating a 1-2 inch section of hair and from the root, wrap the hair around the curling wand. Hold for 5 - 10 seconds and then release hair, letting the curl slide out from around the wand. Allow the curl to cool in the palm of your hand. Repeat all over until the desired style is achieved. Use your favorite L'ange hairspray to lock in your look. Once finished, unplug Le Spirale XL and wait until completely cooled before storing away.

I bought this a few years ago, Ive used it maybe twice. I took it out to use it and the coating is corroded and peeling off, its speckled all over the wand. It looks like it started from under the coating as there is something pushing up on the coating. For the price and infrequent use im not impressed with how it lasted. Also their warranty is limited one year, so im out of luck. For someone like me who rarely uses any heat tools I'd hope it would last longer than that. I still have a curling iron that I got back in high school that is still going strong.
