Start with completely dry and detangled hair, then apply your favorite L'ange heat protectant. Plug in Le Duo Grande and press/hold power button for 2-3 seconds to turn it on. Press the same button until the LED lights reach desired temperature.
Once the set temperature is reached, the fan will turn on automatically; if you prefer no fan while styling, turn off by pressing the fan button. When finished styling, hold the power button to turn off, then unplug the tool (LED will continue to blink until the tool is unplugged). Store accordingly once Le Duo Grande is completely cooled.
To Curl: Holding the tool with the base pointed up or down, squeeze the clip to open the plates. Insert a 1 in. section of hair toward the bottom of the plates, beginning near the roots (for shoulder length hair or longer, you may want to start the curls at the mid-shaft). Twist the tool while sliding down your hair and maintaining consistent pressure. The more you twist, the more defined the curl.
To Straighten: With the tool parallel to the floor, squeeze the clip to open the plates. Insert a 1-2 in. section of hair, starting at the roots. With your free hand, grab the cool tip of the tool and slide from root to tip.

Confused as to why this product is labeled dual voltage when your response to a question below says you need a voltage converter if you use it out of the country. Dual voltage appliances should only need plug adapters in foreign countries or they should not be labeled dual voltage. Is this product really dual voltage?

I really don't get the hype about this. I have used straighteners to curl my hair before and never had any issue with creasing or weird, square flips at the end but I do have that when I try to use this to curl my hair. I don't find the airflow valuable and I just never get a good curl, no matter how small of a section I use. I really wish I would have used this money to buy a decent curling iron or even straightener from another brand!!!
Doesn't hold hair in the iron

Like so many others here I love to the idea and I think it would be a great product but it doesn't hold the hair in the curler. Just slips around. The only way to keep it secure is to hold the top and closed. Returning tomorrow.
Does nothing and I have to use old curling iron every time
I wanted to like this and tried it a few times. I have really fine hair and it doesnr actially curl it. I had to use my okd curling iron every time i tried this. The buttons are placed poorly and its challenging not to push hem by accident. I dont get the hype at all!
Didn't work
So this tool doesn't work as a straightener or a curler. It doesn't straighten my hair properly and it does not curl at all. I am so disappointed!

Hair Type Straight Hair
I have been looking for a new curling iron for some time now and I saw this and decided to try it. Typical curling iron's always seem to dry my hair out and this does not. In fact I am overdue for a trim and this actually makes my Fine hair look and feel so natural, soft, shiny and full of volume. I was surprised at some of the reviews on this post that one person said that their hair got tangled in the iron. I feel that they must not have use it properly because my hair tangles easy, and I had no problems with that at all. There was also another post that someone said that their hair is a medium thicker texture, and they couldn't turn the air off That is not true you can choose to have the air on or off And you clearly always have to test the temperature of a product when you initially turn it on so that you make sure you have the right temperature for your type of hair The temperature selection is also great on this product I would also suggest that once you are finished, if you're trying to use it as a curling iron, that you just spray with a light spray when you're finished to help maintain curl You could also use a balm like it's a 10 potion balm to help with the styling, which I think is a good product for all hair types Personally, I think it's a great product, again it has made my hair much softer on the ends, and it's not drying it out at all.
