Love this cleanser
I have quite sensitive combination skin, with a very oily t-zone and hyperhidrosis, but have dry patches on my cheeks, nostrils, and forehead. This makes it really difficult for me to find a cleanser that is overall non-irritating, hydrating, not drying, but also thoroughly cleansing…too many 'hydrating' facial cleansers leave a film or still leave behind dirt and oil, or leave my face clean but dry and tight. I have hyperpigmentation as well so have been looking for a good kojic acid cleanser and stumbled upon medicube's line upon my research and glad I did. Don't really notice a smell and the cream is light orange which I assume is the turmeric. The texture is very rich and luxurious but you have to use it right with the right balance of water and product. Too much product and not enough water in your hand or face results in a sticky thick paste that's hard to spread/won't lather. You only need a dime sized amount and just enough water in your cupped palm to cover it, to work it into a thick smooth lather in your hands then massage it into your face. The lather surprisingly rinses well and always leaves my skin feeling clean (even if I'm rushing barely massaging it in) and not super dry. I can't say if the cleanser actually makes a difference in my hyperpigmentation or skin texture(I also use the toner pads and serum), but it certainly has helped my face actually feel clean and refreshed without irritation or drying each time I wash which is the biggest win for me considering years of never being satisfied with a cleanser.
Unusual texture and drying
This has an unusual, very sticky texture. You need to rub it together well otherwise it won't spread, because it starts out sticky and stringy like taffy or chewed gum. It smells like turmeric. I have normal to slightly oily skin and I find this wash very drying. Will not buy again.
