Q
The prior version of this product was labeled "intensive spray" and the most recent version i received is labeled "HG intensive scalp spray" with Redensyl. Is there a difference between these two products? Is either toxic to cats?
Asked by Erica
Official Answer By Bondi Boost - Brand Engage
Hi! Great question. The HG Intensive Scalp Spray is the same formula you know and love, just with a packaging refresh! As for pet safety, while the product is safe for topical use on humans, we recommend keeping it out of reach of pets (especially cats), as some ingredients can be harmful if ingested. When in doubt, it’s best to check with your vet.Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Should this product be bubbly? I thought I heard bubbling when I sprayed it. I opened the bottle and there was a bubble at the top of the bottle. My previous bottles didnt do this

Hi there! Thank you for your question. Some companies use unnatural defoaming agents to ensure the products do not foam. However, we have taken these out as we have always kept the BondiBoost range as natural as possible. Natural solubilizers are mostly derived from surfactants (Foaming agents) to be able to trap the oils in the water; however, we use Poly Suga Mulse is derived from Decylglucoside, therefore, it can be a bit bubbly. I recommend using a little less of the product or spraying into your fingers before applying, this might help. The foam will not affect the product at all, and you will still receive the same amazing results. Was this answer helpful to you

Works If You Use It Consistently

I was skeptical about this product at first, but it went on sale and I figured I'd give it a try. I actually like this spray and have seen results. I only use it on my edges around my temple and forehead, so I can't comment how this product works as overall hair growth/length, but it has filled in m...

Buyer beware.. WATERED DOWN!!

I'm extremely disappointed in this product, but more importantly I'm disappointed in Ulta. What I ordered and what I received were two different products. I received a product that was clearly tampered with. It had a completely different pump tube - was way too long for the bottle, it arrived with n...

The old version 100% better

I kept seeing reviews that the new formula wasn't good, but I was hoping it was an over reaction. Sadly, I agree. The old formula was amazing. I am using it the same way and all it does it leave my hair feeling sticky, like hair foam.

Refreshing on the scalp

From Parker, CO

Hair Type Straight Hair

I just started using prescription hair growth formula which irritated my scalp and washing my hair daily to prevent buildup has dried my scalp. It began peeling and was really itchy until I got used to the growth formula. I decided to try this spray for scalp. What a relief I felt when sprayed it on my scalp. It wasn't oily or heavy. And had a nice mild scent. But my scalp would tingle and felt so much relief. Definitely a good choice of purchase.

I don't get all the hype

I've been using this for several months, and have not seen even the slightest change. I don't get all the hype and rave reviews. It's like spraying water on your head. I use the Intensive Spray in the a.m., and the Procapil Spray in the p.m., and at least one of them is definitely comedogenic, because it consistently breaks my scalp out in the spots that are treated.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Use in combination with Procapil!

Hair Type Very Curly Hair

My hair is very wiry, thin, brittle, and prone to breakage. So naturally, I decided to try to grow it out shoulder length. My reviews are based on how products have helped or hindered that effort.. I started off using the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate line. After a year, my hair was actually SHORTER. I finally read the ingredients and Redken products contain alcohol, which is very bad for my hair. I switched to Bondi Boost products and the results have been AMAZING!! I have noticed significant new growth, less breakage, and my hair is fuller, longer, stronger, and softer. These products have been game changers in my hair growth journey. I love this scalp serum and have noticed significant new growth. I alternate with the Procapil Scalp Serum and have been very pleased. DISCLAIMER: During the same period, I did over color my hair, had to strip the color, bleach it, and re-color it. That process is most likely responsible for a great deal of damage and loss of length; probably more so than the Redken products. I also started scalp treatments, more frequent shampooing, and a change of styling products. Therefore the loss of length and lack of growth can not be totally attributed to those products, but I am still much happier with Bondi Boost.
