The button placement on this dryer is absolutely ridiculous and you'll constantly be switching the settings without meaning to! You barely touch the buttons and the settings change and they are placed along the handle right where your hand goes! The cool shot button? Also requires the *slightest* touch and it changes the air to cool without warning. Usually you have to hold a cool shot button down for it to work but this one just turns off all heat settings instantly. I'm having to hold this dryer in such a weird way in order to avoid accidentally changing the settings. Also, while I appreciate the folding concept, it makes for a "wobbly" experience while using the dryer - and maybe that's bc the only place to hold the dryer is at the very end of the handle…. Anyway, let's get to actual performance - the dryer does dry hair. It operates on a cooler heat than I'm used to but that's fine as it gets the job done. My concern is that my normal silky smooth hair looks like dry straw when I'm done. I've been doing my own blowout styles with a round brush for over 20'years and this dryer does not do my hair justice. It looks like an over processed damaged bleach job rather than a smooth sleek blowout that I can get with my $30 dryer. For the price and the issues with the dryer, you definitely want to look elsewhere!! This is not it.
Leaves hair feeling like straw and in knots
At first use, I thought this dryer was great because of the fan speeds and heat settings available and it dried my hair so fast. But then when it was dry, and I went to put a brush through it, my hair was so tangled and knotted. It also felt weird like straw. I'm attaching a picture of the chunk of hair that got pulled out when my brush grabbed one of the knots. The other problem I had was that the buttons on the handle our positioned in such a way that I kept changing the fan speed and heat setting on accident.

I haven't purchased a hair dryer in years. Boy, have things changed. This dries my hair quickly and it's so much quieter. With the right attachment and blowout products, I look like I stepped out of the salon. Definitely recommend.
Excellent dryer for fine hair.
I have fine, thin, curly short hair. For me this dryer is excellent! I really like all of the different temperature/air flow options, took a couple of times to hone in on the best combination for my hair. I have tried the 3 attachments and have them incorporated all of them in my blow drying routine. I really like the one that controls frizz, which I use on my bangs, it really works!My hair is always shiny when I finish drying my hair and looks heat. The dryer is very light weight (compared to my old Babyliss dryer) and quiet. I am very happy with my purchase!
